Decent port with only minor issues
Enjoyable way to play the game. Decent touch controls and it plays smoothly overall. Only issues I’ve noticed is that FMVs are choppy (poor frame pacing, not because of them being 15fps. The frame pacing is fine on the PC port), and transparent text boxes are just darker instead of being transparent. Playing on iPhone Air. Neither is a huge deal or detracts from the experience for me. Thanks Square Enix!

Ran smooth all the way
I held off purchasing this because of recent reviews, but I played the whole game on an iPad Pro and never came across any issues whatsoever.

Ruined
I don’t know what the last update was supposed to achieve but the game is completely ruined. Controls take 2-3 seconds to respond and the frame rate is dire. Please don’t waste your money.
Does not work on my iPhone
I have final fantasy vii and ix they work seamlessly on my iPhone 12, yes it’s bit old now. But still going strong. Yet I can’t get this to even open beyond the initial press start splash page. It briefly worked and then stopped when I went to start a new game. No idea why. Very poor port compared to the other two.
