Predatory, Fees Galore, Requested Direct Deposits to Bank Don’t Go Through, Poorly Designed App
If your employer tried to pay you using this service, especially for your final wages after no longer being employed by them, you should take action. If you’re in California, USA, you can take action for stolen wages/waiting penalty fees via DIR Labor Commissioner’s office. It’ll take a while but they should respond.
Poorly designed app with nonsensical recovery questions that are never set by you in the first place, should you try to access certain parts of the app. Questions like “Which of the streets is nearest to you”, instead of just allowing you to choose your own questions.
App suddenly stopped showing all transaction histories. Money won’t go into my bank account despite requesting it and following all steps through phone. Had to request dispute after failed transfers to Cashapp and PayPal, which incurred extra “declined transfer” penalties.
This is the type of experience that can leave people homeless if they lose their job and are paid through this service.
I highly suspect fraudulent reviews (or reviews left by equally predatory employers) for their AppStore ratings. Revolting.

Absolutely terrible app that doesn’t even work & awful customer service
App crashes as soon as I log in. Can’t view anything. Brand new download and brand new iPhone. Horrible. No customer service via email or text. Ask phone support is outsourced to a different country save they hang up on you every time they put you on hold.
Feels painful to use
In seriousness, it just has a horrible user interface; the home and menu buttons are weirdly spaced. When loading the Fintwist logo is vertically stretched, not a fixed size for your device's screen, it also runs phenomenally slow when other apps on my device don't. Tbh I would just not use their services unless you have to, which is unfortunate.

Fintwist/Comdata is incredibly predatory
If Octopharma didn’t use them I would never voluntarily use this service. Only reason I downloaded the app is because of how ridiculously hard it is to withdraw $65 exactly from an atm, as well as all the fees on atm withdrawal.
So I downloaded this app, set up required alerts, and added it to my apple wallet. Usually I just immediately transfer to Apple Cash so I can ignore this card. Once I decided to use it, and I had forgotten my pin. That’s on me, but getting charged $1 for a cancelled transaction is something no normal banking institution does.
Also the card randomly decides it was on “lost card status” for about 2 hours. When I tried to transfer it failed. That was a $0.50 fee.

Money withdrawal
Money withdrawal stops working out of nowhere and no way to get in contact with support just hangs up the phone

When I try to log into the app, it loads normally and everything seems fine, but as soon as I sign in, the app crashes and won’t let me do anything. I already restarted my phone and it still doesn’t work.
Feels Like Banking in 2005
The Fintwist app feels very outdated compared to modern banking apps. The user interface is clunky and not intuitive. When trying to transfer money, the app asks security questions about things from years ago that many people may not remember, which makes accessing your own money frustrating.
Transfers to my personal bank account take several days, and sending money to other people is much harder than it should be. The card itself is also outdated because it doesn’t have a chip, which limits where it can be used.
Compared to apps like Branch, which many trucking companies use, Fintwist is far behind. Branch makes it easy to access payroll advances, transfer money instantly, and move funds to your regular bank account. Fintwist needs a complete redesign and major improvements to make managing your paycheck simple and convenient.

Terrible!!!
The worst bank app that I’ve ever experienced. I cannot even make a simple transfer of the funds that i already have to my actual bank account. The custumer service agents know less about the bank operations than a 70 years old. The fees are almost like an extortion for today’s time.
Very useful
The app has a spending graph summarizing how you spend your money. I like the visualization of how I use my money that way I know what i can stop spending on to save money.
App crashes, unusable
After singing in, the app will force close itself. Let’s see how long it will take for admins to respond and fix. Review is timestamp.
Easy to use, no fees
Love that FINTWIST prepaid card app is so simple to use, easy, love that you can unlock and lock your card giving you extra peace of mind that nobody will be able to take money off your card especially with as many spam and scams going around now. Would definitely recommend plus they got other programs, like identity theft, financial education section, even discount cards for your medicine and much more. Will definitely keep using it. Wish they offered rewards and points you could earn for using your card. That’s the only downside side but other than that the card and company is great.

Useless app but you can’t get help on the phone
I have had to be subjected to this app for too long and logging in online is not possible. This app and the whole of the banking system feels like and is a scam.
It takes advantage of me for not having an account by deducting money from my account for no specified reason. Then when trying to gain clarity I am sent to the app. The app does not even allow me access or information.
If you have the opportunity to, use another banking card/ account or go back to paper checks because this is it with the hassle.

Makes every transaction so much harder to complete
This app is overall useless taxing you for every transaction and when your account is too low to tax, you can’t send no more money for example it takes off four dollars every time so if you have two dollars or three dollars or maybe even five it won’t send because it needs an extra four dollars to send it would be different if the company or app informed you of this but they don’t. You find out when you’re in the process of using your card.

Absolutely Useless
Horrible!! This app gives you no access to your money. We have been trying for weeks to link an external account so we can transfer funds to our bank account. The linked account sits in pending status for several days and then disappears altogether, and you have to start the process over.
Doesn’t work
They app is glitchy and needs rematch work. It works when it wants to work. How it has a 4 star is beyond me.
Won’t stay open
I can’t get the app to stay open or the one time I did I couldn’t press anything and my phone is fully updated please help
