Puzzling at times
I need large print?? Visually difficult.. very often.. especially I the evening.. buses stated at next bus stop, due in 5 mins then 4 mins, then 11 minutes?? 😵💫 Maybe arrive 15 minutes later.. difficult to choose whether to risk long walk or stay!
Horrible app
I have to deep deleting the app and installing it for the constant bugs and glitches which make the app unusable!!
Good but there is a problem
After the update, there are some buses that you cannot see. For instance when you select on a bus you can see the preview of what stops it is at but not how long it will take for it to get to that stop
I like the First Bus App
I get the Rail air bus to Heathrow from Reading and it is very handy to buy the tickets online and use my Railcard to get the discount.
Nothing but stress
I just renewed my ticket a few months ago after it ended one day suddenly without warning when I was getting on the bus. No warning at all. I’m lucky if I’ve used the app at all. I think I’ve used it about five times in the last two months due to having to download a new version of the app in my new phone which was an absolute nightmare. I had to reset my phone to factory settings and change the I cloud address which was an absolute nightmare. Today when I travelled to work it worked once when I got on the first bus as I have to get two to work. Then when I changed buses when I clicked on it the app would not load. Clicked on it so many times and all that came up was the first bus logo and whatever I done from there it would not load. I’ve had to explain to there bus drivers today that it won’t work and they look at me like I’m trying to skip my fare. If I don’t get this app working tomorrow I want a refund from the last three payments I’ve made to it. I’m paying a fortune every month and all I get is stress from it. Travelling by bus every day is stressful enough due to traffic problems and this is just making it worse

Very good service. I use the number 25 from Basildon to Southend to get to the hospital and am pleased with the service..

Generally bus up is very good and bus arrives as shown on the App. However, for some reason later at night the App just spins away and doesn’t show bus stops or times etc which is not good. However the Traveline Scotland App is still working. Prefer the First Bus when working but something is causing an issue.

it’s ok not the best
I use this to see the buses when i’m going to work/ heading home. I have to leave my house at 6:50 because the app never works in a morning meaning I have no clue on when my bus is, this isn’t just me many people i’ve spoken to have had the same experience.
Useful but not to it’s full potential
Departure times change to when the bus wants to as it seems, which is weird. Also live tracking the bus’ location doesn’t show sometimes which is the most annoying thing as this is the closest thing to get an accurate idea of when it might arrive.

Horrible UX
Impossible to sign in on this app, entering details for a verification link appears to only be for email updates rather than anything meaningful.
Poor update
The latest update has made a pretty decent app worse. Inactive tickets are no longer in expiry date order. Might not matter to some users but if you buy tickets in packs (e.g park and ride) this is annoying. For the same reason the simple count of inactive tickets is no longer there. Shame that an update reduces functionality.
