Happy Customer

Excellent App. Well done.šŸ¤—

Needs more things

The app is good but they need to add new fish or photos to that certain fish. They need to add where a certain fish can be caught for example: Kingfish at Botany Bay. Even better if you can get recommendations for good lures or bait

Crashes during catch log

Really great in theory! But i want to keep track of my fishing primarily. Hope there will be a bug update soon.

Can’t even open it?

Can’t even open it? Got a letter with my fishing licence promoting it, but the app won’t even work? Is this normal?

Not worth getting

You would think they would have included in the app tips on how to catch the target species like what rig and bait to use. Very basic information an app like this should have.

Could be good, but very buggy

Installed this app to keep track of our family’s catches, but after just a week or so of using, it loses data (photos, location), time date seems random - the list goes on. Come on NSW, lift your game!

Could have been a great app, not even near there…

Very buggy, fish size and bag limit should work when off line as well since a lot of fishing spots don’t have reception. Searching function on fish don’t work well. Also it would be great if it works on apple watch too.

Needs refinement

Information is there, but you want to check it and is hard to read ( grey writing instead of deep black) you also can’t enlarge the writing. The app developers need to hop in an open tinny in bright daylight with a lot of rocking.
Fish identifier won’t rotate pictures so even on large iPhone max harder to identify (once again hop in tinny)
Map handy idea but once again information is small and can’t be enlarged .
Thanks

Moon phase is incorrect

It’s a WAXING crescent not a WANING crescent. Can’t give a rating for an app which can’t even get the moon phase right. What else have you got wrong?

Works well

Handy info, looks great.

Response from developer

hi, thanks for your feedback. Glad you like the app!

Compatability

Not compatible with older ios devices.

Response from developer

Hi, can you please let us know what device and OS you are trying to use the app? We try our best for backward compatibility but are restricted sometimes with how old the operating system or device is and by some of the functions to work properly.

App not working!!!

This app will not allow me to register or sign in, advising to try later. Not happy!
Tried deleting and reloading and still no success.

Response from developer

Hi there, can you please try and update to the latest app. We have updated the app specially the Maps section.

Measurements and comments don’t save

Nice streamlined app, but I have issues on iOS where measurements and also comments on photos don’t save even though no errors occur.
If saving multiple photos, the upload just duplicate one single photo and there is no no at to delete or change the photo.

Please investigate and fix bugs if possible.

Great app

Great app to have on hand when fishing. To have that chart to show how many and how long the fish have to be is very handy without a mat or anything.

Offline content

Good app, would be better if we could download size/bag limits for when we don’t have mobile coverage

Great app with rooms for improvement

The app is designed for outdoor but with the super low contrast font it is useless in outdoor.

When first installed the pop up dialog for each feature is annoying enough for user to stop using this app after a few clicks. The features are already self explanatory, the is no need to pop up another meaningless one liner dialog to tell what the features are for. Example, Toilet, pop up dialog, the toilet is for you to......

The fish limit feature is really handy and useful but low contrast font makes this unusable outdoor.

Map is good, will be better to add exclusion zones too especially for Sydney Harbour.

A simple way to make it more useful

It’s a useful app but would be even better if it had a field where we could store our
fishing licence number so we can find it easily when fisheries officers come calling. It would be especially useful for fishing on Sydney Harbour where they are very... diligent.

And it would be extra awesome if you could scan the fish with your camera and have the app tell you what species it is and any limits that apply.

Coloring

Hard to read in the sun. Darker font would be good.

Doesn't work

Great idea but doesn't work. Crashes as soon as it is open despite multiple installs. Running latest IOS and iPhone 6.

My

Constantly dropping out. Can't use app.
