Just about perfect
Best fishing app I’ve used to date. Just wish there was the option to add multiple fish for one GPS location for when your anchored up and reeling them in. Maybe in the next update?

It would be helpful to have ability to add multiple fish caught at approx. same time with same conditions, lures, or a way to duplicate the next fish with similar conditions. It would also de very helpful to log trolling line out and leader length in feet.

App is great for keeping track. I think my biggest suggestion would be to have an option to track quantity of fish caught. If you catch 30 fish on one lure it would be nice to be able to track that instead of entering 30 entries.
Perfect way to track fishing history
I’ve been using the app for our annual Canada fishing trip since 2015 and will continue indefinitely. The ability to document any detail of our catches has been invaluable in how we adapt and ensure continued success.

Customer response was good when I was having problems. It had one little quirk but they worked me around it.

Best fishing log
Full featured fishing log with all the detail fields you need and great search tools did find the best catches again. Just keeps getting better with all the updates.
Lost info
All the info added last season disappeared. Waste of time.
Features Needed
I imagine most people update this after fishing. It would be nice to add multiple fish at a time and/or copy a fish. I caught four fish today at roughly the same spot. Two on each of two rigs. I entered one of each and would like to copy them or be able to show a quantity for the day.
Would be nice to have a daily diary or trip diary where we can note in generalities how the day was. Who we may have fished with. How many we missed, etc. then drill in to see specifics for each fish.
Would be nice to be able to turn off some of the fields we never use.

Very useful app
I've been using my own database for years and this is so much easier. The app automatically stores waypoints for each fish or fishing spot and can record just about anything else you want including, depth, structure/cover type, water temp, air temp, weather, bait type, bait size, etc.
It's searchable so you can see a quick overhead shot of any lake and where you caught all your fish under specific conditions.
Can't recommend it enough and I would pay 10x what it cost without hesitating.

Nice app to keep a log of catches
Fairly comprehensive app on keeping all the details of my catches. The lure list is a bit wonky though and the list similar to the lure list could be redesigned, but overall worth the investment.
I echo another reviewer that requests iCloud syncing between devices. It's almost a de facto feature in apps these days.

Sync over iCloud???
Great app but needs to sync across devices over iCloud!!! Any plans to add this feature? Would pay twice the money for such an option!

Needs Cloud.
Has the potential to be a 5 star app, but not until it can be synced between iPad and iPhone. Not much use when you upgrade your iPad, load Fish Tales onto the new one then realise none of your records are available on it!
Easy, and keeps all the info I need.
When I purchased this app, there were a few problems with it. I emailed the designer many times with problems and my input, and got a response within a few hours every time. Within a few weeks the problems I mentioned to him was taken care of. I really don't see any problems with the app. The only thing that would help is a storage place. My PC recently went down and lost the files that were on it. Luckily they were still on my Ipad. There are a couple of spots where it or any of the programs won't pickup the weather. That would make this one a step above.

Constant Crashes
I did have some problems running the app on an older iPad, however my iPhone 6 demonstrated a significant improvement.

What a great app! Love the GPS feature. The tackle box is awesome too. Love that it's easy to use also. I've bought too many apps that have a great concept but are a pain to use - this app is not that! Great concept and easy.

It works, but the features are very basic. The interface is functional, but it looks like it was made by a programmer and not by a graphic designer.
I love the recent update that it grabs weather info for you. Very nice!
I'd love to see gps integration. Also a big "got a bite" button you can quickly hit when out trolling without entering a full log.
Another feature that two similar apps have is the ability to take pictures of your rigs and lures for entering in.
I'd also love an iCloud backup.
I would happily pay $10 or maybe even $14 dollars for the app if it was fully built out with features, stats on catches, and a beautiful clean interface.

Unfortanate
Just had to delete everything on my phone and do a fresh install on everything. Opened this app back up only to realize there's no backup option/ account. Lost my entire tackle box and all data.

I love this app. It has everything you need to log your outing and more. Anytime I had a question or concern the developer Brian was very helpful and quick to respond.
