Becoming less worth the effort
Was initially ok now crashes, loses activities and doesn’t credit earned Sweatcoin. I got for the tracking g which now works sometimes. Not worth paying for at all in my view
Poor implementation don’t download
This app duplicates functionality seen in WatchOS. I downloaded it simply to earn sweatcoin. However this simply isn’t worth the hassle. I went for my usual walk this afternoon and Flare alarmed twice in 10 minutes. What caused this alarm you may ask? Well, the slight movement of my phone in my shorts pocket was detected as an incident. After this occurred for a second time I deleted the app. When the usefulness of an app is outweighed by it’s annoying implementation it won’t last long on my phone.
At minimum this feature should be able to be disabled or at the very least the user should be able to set the sensitivity of the incident detection.
In its present form I cannot recommend this rather poorly designed app!

Love this app, I use it to keep an eye on my kids when they go bike riding in the woods. Battery usage is great 2% in two hours
Battery issues
I have used the app for a while, and while I haven’t used it in amber (thankfully), it seems to work fine. However, last few days it seems to be draining my phone battery running in the background when the app has not been opened. Force quitting, the battery drained the following day too. Had to delete it, unfortunately!

The Ultimate personal safety app!!
I first heard about Flare (Busby) some time ago from the founder but thought it was only for cyclists, however, after further investigation it’s a technology that I believe everyone should install and use every day. From my perspective (as a father of four), two of whom are early teens, this technology gives me the piece of mind in knowing they can let me know if they are vulnerable or feeing unsafe. Also, if they are out on their bikes and are involved in an accident / impact then again I would be alerted and can get help to them quickly. For anyone who enjoys outdoor activities then again this app will literally save lives. If you come off your bike or are involved in a fall and god forbid you are alone (maybe even unconscious) then Flare is activated using the sensors in your phone to trigger an alert to your loved ones. Another cool feature is you earn sweatcoins for every minute of activity under Flares protection that can been redeemed in their great on-line store 👍 I can’t recommend this app enough and it’s free!

Peace of mind
Had the app since version one and it’s been a great addition to my regular cycling routine. Knowing that, should the worst happen, my family will be notified is absolute peace of mind for both me and my partner.

I can’t ride without it!
I got this app last year when the pandemic first hit and solo bike rides became a routine for me. It gives me a great piece of mind knowing my emergency contacts will be provided my exact location in the event of an accident. There’s also some nice deals on there if you have a premium account. Brilliant app!

It really is safety in your pocket!
I absolutely love Busby, with a medical condition going out training alone can be tricky sometimes. Since having Busby not only do I feel safer incase of a collision, I feel like I’ve got additional protection incase it’s needed due to medical reasons. A brilliant app helping everyone, certainly makes me feel safer out on the bike!

Could be good but failing
Hi - could be a great app however when the crucial moment comes.. it currently says failed to send message. I have changed contacts and still the same. Running on an iPhone 12 Pro.
Discounts keep disappearing
Premium membership keeps deactivating with no explanation and am then asked to pay again to regain access.

This app is a life saving app. I feel my family members have extra protection when they are cycling on busy roads and when out on rural areas. Thankyou busby! 👏👏
New found confidence
After previously feeling a total lack of confidence in tackling the mean streets of ill-considered automobilists, Busby has given me the encouragement I needed to don my helmet and dust the cobwebs off my lonely bicycle in the knowledge that I will be able to avoid potential hazards and ride in safety. A must have for nervous cyclists or beginners!

Ads even when payed for
I love the idea of this app, sadly having paid for no ads I still have ads. I contacted the developer and was told they would work on it. The new version doesn’t fix the issue and no one as messaged me since with any advice or recompense. Poor service is inexcusable.
Amazing app for cyclists!
Since the lock down I decided to get back into my cycling and I needed additional safety and Busby is great for it!

Had to review! I recently started cycling again (trying to keep fit amongst all the snacks!) and someone at work mentioned Busby.
I was riding down a usually quiet country lane, when a car almost hit me. I had to swerve to avoid being hit and ended up down a steep embankment.
I was unconscious for some time, bike completely snapped and a few broken bones. After nearly 15 minutes my husband turned up and I couldn’t work out how, I thought I was imagining it from a bang on the head! Busby had informed him I’d been in an accident and my sent exact location, unbelievable! My injuries where pretty bad and help was able to get to me even though I was unconscious in a hard to find location.
Every cyclist should download this app!

I was out riding this weekend and was involved in an RTA. I was unconscious for a while but Busby recognised the incident and sent an SMS to my emergency contact of my exact location. Help arrived as quickly as possible without me having to do anything. Thank you Busby
