About

FlashyAlarm is an alarm clock you have to earn. When it goes off there is no snooze and no dismiss button. The only way to stop it is to type correct translations of flashcards. Until you do, it keeps ringing — at full volume, on your lock screen, through silent mode and through Focus. HOW IT WORKS • Set an alarm and pick a deck • When it fires, tap Start and the keyboard is already open • Type each translation and press go • Reach your target and the alarm is gone for good IT DOES NOT GIVE UP Tap Stop and it comes back. Swipe the alert away and it comes back. Lock your phone, switch apps, or force-quit the app entirely and it still comes back — with your progress saved, so you pick up exactly where you left off. While you are typing it stays quiet. Stop typing and it starts again. Terms of Use: https://www.apple.com/legal/internet-services/itunes/dev/stdeula/

What's New in FlashyAlarm

1.5

October 29, 2026

Alarms that did not go off now do. Setting several alarms could leave some of them silently unscheduled - that is fixed, and an alarm that cannot be scheduled now says so instead of looking armed. Picking a sound no longer resets the alarm time. Practice works the way Anki does: four buttons to say how well you knew a card, counts for new, learning and due, and 20 new cards a day so a deck does not hand you everything at once. You can ask for more. Every card explains itself after you answer - gender, plurals, and which word to use when. Tap to hear a card spoken in the language you are learning. The app opens dark now, and you can change that in Settings.
