Can Do Swing Beats
I was looking for a metronome that could do a New Orleans Second Line beat. This metronome has templates that you can adapt and save your own beat patterns. There’s a good visual interface that I used to insert some beats and turn down others.
The designer also included some pretty interesting non-standard patterns in odd time signatures that give me new ideas.
One note for the designer: the “ping” or bell sound on the downbeat is a specific pitch (D flat) that may not be in the same key I’m playing. Please consider adding a different sound option like a woodblock, or allow the user to change the pitch of the bell to match the song she/he is playing.
