1.2.1
August 19, 2026
This release is mostly about the app telling you the truth about what it knows. The app no longer tells you an airport publishes no METAR or TAF when the real story is that the fetch failed. That claim used to appear on the same branch as a network error, so a station with a perfectly good report could read as a station that files nothing. The model-forecast badge made the same mistake in two cases where a TAF exists. Both are fixed, the briefing's weather summary now distinguishes "we asked and the call failed" from "this station publishes nothing", and a brief provider error is retried before anything gets declared missing. Weight and balance uses your aircraft's real CG envelope. The app used to keep only two corner points, so a tapered envelope became a rectangle. The full certified envelope now travels end to end, the table on the aircraft placard comes from the library rather than from a guess, and a caption tells you when a limit between two published points was interpolated. Personal minimums are checked, not assumed. The banner, the PAVE pilot chip and the summary line all read the same ledger. The green "within your minimums" line appears only when every enforced limit was measured and cleared. A breach names the limit it broke, and a ceiling or visibility we couldn't measure says so instead of showing green. Significant weather buried in the remarks section is now read. Funnel clouds, smoke, dust and pressure changes reported only in remarks get a signal on the card, and a tornado that has ended no longer looks like one in progress. The exported briefing record says what it is. Every export carries the time it was made in labelled UTC, the build that produced it, and a line stating it isn't an official weather briefing. Filenames start with the analysis time so records sort in order, exports include the NOTAMs they say they retrieved, and a runway closure is no longer filed under performance estimates. Accessibility: the "Analysis Failed" card shows its whole message at large text sizes, and the analysis progress rows tell VoiceOver which stage they're in rather than just their name. Also fixed: an edge-proxy error no longer shows raw proxy text as the failure reason, and airspace data holds up when the FAA rate limits us.
