The best for handwriting!
I’ve come back to this app time and time again over the years because, although there are cheaper alternatives, Flow is just hands-down the best for handwriting feel and aesthetic. I’ve used a handful of note taking apps and this one doesn’t necessarily have every feature out there and I think perhaps the file organization could be a little better but what it does do, it does beautifully. It feels like an authentic notepad/sketchbook. As someone who enjoys taking handwritten notes and appreciates doing so with lovely pens and paper, this app above all others makes writing on the iPad a joy - the fountain pen is unmatched, it’d addictive to use and the colors and interface look so beautiful. I think it’s appalling this has so many negative reviews for not being free when it’s clear to see the care and consideration that’s gone in to creating this app. Timepage and Actions are also excellent and similarly enjoyable to use.

Really laggyy
Initially I didn’t want to write anything about how disappointing this app is, but I can’t help but compare it to other, cost worthy apps. It may be user error, it may be that my iPad is a few years old, BUT it is so laggy. 😭 Like I initially tried the free trial version to see how I’d feel about it for the upcoming school year, I did notice that it was pretty laggy when I would write fast. Laggy as in some letters would be distorted and it would take a bit to show up on the doc. In addition to all the lag, when I would finish with the document and exit the app and I open the document the next day, everything I wrote would be gone. I thought that maybe it would take a while to load in, but it never did. So I am now having to deal with $30 wasted on an annual subscription and app I was really hopeful in. If you have an older iPad I think sticking to the Freeform app would be the best option. Refund might be nice!!

업데이트하고나서 입력오류 진짜 개심해짐. 한 문장 쓰면 글자 5-10개는 깨짐. 그냥 필기앱으로써 기능을 상실함. 안그래도 불안정한거 안정화나 하지, 왜 비싼돈 쳐받으면서 이 난리를 하는거? 진짜 홧병나 죽고싶지 않으면 받지 마세요

Consistency and Ease of Use win Every Time
I like your app, but the GUI freezes randomly and the full screen implementation is frustrating because it actually does not turn off the icons/buttons across the top as you’re writing and drawing. In terms of design and layout, it’s a breath of fresh air aesthetically in a very crowded space, truly unique. However, I will have to unsubscribe and remove from my device today after a month of use due to the issues mentioned above.

Great app I use for note taking and simple drawing. It’s a beautiful app and now works zippy and is even more artistic. Highly recommended app for Designers
My notes are disappearing
Since last major update, went into notes made about a year ago to see sections of my handwriting disappear in front of my eyes! Very disappointed

A beautiful, focused drawing experience
I’ve loved getting lost in my thoughts using this app. It really reminds me of taking a giant roll of butchers paper and sketching, painting and just really thinking through my process. The pens are a joy to use at their default levels as well. Super highly recommended for active one that wants to just draw and have all the other stuff just fall to the wayside.

Once the photo/ image is inserted, it’s very difficult to crop it . But I love the range of inks and the fluidity of the system

Locked my files
I don’t like the fact I wanna move my notes to another platform but I only have access to my notes if I have a paid subscription. So I have to pay again to have access to my notes and move them out. This is not transparent policy for an app that storage people notes.
Not the best thing

Great app, only if they fix getting stuck
Been using this for two years now, and I have reached out to support, but no avail. The moment you start drawing 30 lines, it gets stuck and you need to close the app and open again. This fix is urgently needed.
