Private and on-device. - Text labels: real, editable text with advanced styling and custom font support - Notebook covers: design your own bespoke covers, including material, binding, pattern, colour and more - Stickers: drag anything you’ve drawn into the panel to make it a sticker - Real paper: textures, aged effects, torn edges and line ruling you can endlessly tune to your taste - Duplicate documents, Single Page mode, a better library, Siri and Shortcuts support We’ll share more about these massive new features in the coming weeks. I hate this app. It keeps telling me to do subscription, even though I’m literally still young like bro. I have no money. Let me assess it.😡😡😡

App & Support Team are Both Excellent

I have enjoyed using Flow for several year’s now, but recently encountered an issue with a “vanishing” tool palette. Unable to see this resolved on my own, I reached out to the support team. Support contacted me within hours, and the recommendations I received proved to be the ticket: voila! The tool palette options were visible and my issue was quickly resolved. Excellent app, and equally excellent product service. I highly recommend Flow to anyone searching for a versatile,—-and FUN!—-app of this nature.

The best for handwriting!

I’ve come back to this app time and time again over the years because, although there are cheaper alternatives, Flow is just hands-down the best for handwriting feel and aesthetic. I’ve used a handful of note taking apps and this one doesn’t necessarily have every feature out there and I think perhaps the file organization could be a little better but what it does do, it does beautifully. It feels like an authentic notepad/sketchbook. As someone who enjoys taking handwritten notes and appreciates doing so with lovely pens and paper, this app above all others makes writing on the iPad a joy - the fountain pen is unmatched, it’d addictive to use and the colors and interface look so beautiful. I think it’s appalling this has so many negative reviews for not being free when it’s clear to see the care and consideration that’s gone in to creating this app. Timepage and Actions are also excellent and similarly enjoyable to use.

Really laggyy

Initially I didn’t want to write anything about how disappointing this app is, but I can’t help but compare it to other, cost worthy apps. It may be user error, it may be that my iPad is a few years old, BUT it is so laggy. 😭 Like I initially tried the free trial version to see how I’d feel about it for the upcoming school year, I did notice that it was pretty laggy when I would write fast. Laggy as in some letters would be distorted and it would take a bit to show up on the doc. In addition to all the lag, when I would finish with the document and exit the app and I open the document the next day, everything I wrote would be gone. I thought that maybe it would take a while to load in, but it never did. So I am now having to deal with $30 wasted on an annual subscription and app I was really hopeful in. If you have an older iPad I think sticking to the Freeform app would be the best option. Refund might be nice!!
