Thanks for sharing your feedback. We're glad you enjoyed the book, although we're sorry the app didn’t meet your expectations. The app is designed around the same core principles described in the book, including creating personalized flashcards rather than relying on pre-made ones. Users still choose the words, images and examples that are personally relevant to them, while the app simplifies some of the more time-consuming parts of creating and reviewing those cards. We understand that free tools such as Anki may be a better fit for people who prefer to build and manage every aspect of their flashcards independently. The Fluent Forever subscription also includes additional guided content and features, such as pronunciation training, vocabulary tools and grammar lessons, which are not available in free tools like Anki. The intention isn’t to prevent users from following the book’s method, but to make that method more accessible and convenient within a guided app experience. That said, we appreciate your honest feedback and understand that this approach won’t be the right fit for everyone.
