Unfit for purpose

I just cancelled my subscription because I realised the product is totally appalling. I was in the middle of a conversation and all of a sudden somebody else turns up speaking twice as fast as the woman I was speaking to. I had no idea what the message was about. There was no translation, no links to anything that made me understand what on earth had happened. I had no idea whether that second voice was trying to send a message to me or the tutor. When I finished my lesson, it also failed to provide me with a summary of what I had discussed. I had no idea whether I had made any progress at all. There was no summary or ongoing vocabulary or grammar that I had learned. Instead of a pleasant ending, the woman just signed off and that was it. It is clearly a product which is in development and is unfit for purpose and I would like my money back.

A sudden change of voice or speaking speed in the middle of a conversation is not normal behavior and may indicate a technical issue. Please contact us at support@getfluently.app with the approximate date and time of the session so our team can investigate it. After every conversation, the latest version of Fluently provides a full session record in the Sessions section, including the transcript, corrections, and feedback. If you would still prefer a refund, website subscriptions include an unconditional 30-day refund guarantee from the subscription start date. App Store purchases and refund decisions are handled directly by Apple.

You’ll need to pay more

The conversation with the AI tutor goes smoother than other Apps I have tried. However, the premium plan you usually pay for only allows you to use it for 100 minutes a week, which means you can only talk for less than 15 minutes a day. If you want to do more, you need to upgrade to pro, which would cost you more than double. I bought premium plan for 3 months, but with this time limit, I would rather go for another one.

Great partner for learning English

This app uses an LLM and is also customized for language learning. I really enjoy using it. If you need some guidance or structure for learning English, it’s a great option. But if you just want to have free conversations, you can use cheaper alternatives.

Scam.

The subscription limits were not clear when I signed up. After only three days of using the app, I’m already at 95 of the 100 speaking minutes allowed for the entire week, and now I’m being prompted to pay for another upgrade. Several advertised features are still marked “Coming Soon,” and the app also freezes frequently. I like the basic idea, but the pricing structure feels misleading and the app is not reliable enough to justify the cost.

Really Enjoying Fluently

I’ve only been using Fluently for Hebrew for a few days as a trial, so far I like that it’s encouraging me to speak. I designed my custom tutor, Noa, to be encouraging, patient, and academic. So far, she has those characteristics. Aside from a couple minor glitches, which I think will correct itself, I’m enjoying exercising my Hebrew speaking muscles. Thank you.

Les sections grammaire et mots de vocabulaire sont un bon complément.
À voir sur deux ou trois mois pour connaître l’efficacité réelle de la méthode mais pour le moment, je valide.

The app is not working well

I just paid the app and when I start practicing with the ai tutor. The voice sounds like a robot can’t say the words. I can’t find assistance to see why is doing that. Please contact me or I will have to ask for credits card reimbursement.
