Great App

I love this app. Makes it so easy to find a destination restaurant-worth the money!

Great App.

Perfect for what I need.

Great idea and solid improvement

I gave this another try recently and it’s been much smoother. Planning meals around flights is a great idea, and the app does exactly what it promises. It’s especially helpful when flying somewhere unfamiliar and trying to find good food nearby. Glad to see it continuing to improve. If you fly often, this is definitely worth checking out.

Busted app should not be open to the public yet

App froze or crashed several times while trying to create a login. After finally getting past that point and actually logging in the app forces you to a subscription service purchase page any time you attempt to use the app as it is marketed to search for places to fly to for food or to find CFI’s. So far I have seen zero viable functionality for the way the app is marketed/advertised/pushed. I find no method for users to enter or submit locations to be displayed if the search function were to ever work.

Not very useful

Despite confirming a $5 monthly charge on my credit card statement, I am unable to use the app on my phone. If I login on my phone, the app confirms my name and demographics suggesting I am logged in. However, any attempt to use the app brings me to a screen offering the purchase of a new subscription…

I can successfully login and search for restaurants within a radius using my desktop computer. The result is a street map with icons of nearby restaurants. This is not an aviation map; airports are not displayed. Clicking on a restaurant icon will yield the street address for the airport. The airport name or identifier are not given. This is helpful if you want to drive to the airport. However, if you don’t know what airport is associated with that street address, you may find it difficult to fly there.

Don’t even bother

Subscription required? Are you serious?? At least offer paid features not the whole app? Please fix bc this is a fantastic idea but horrible business plan.

Having to pay is crazy

Come on. I can use google to find fly in restaurants.

Data harvester and nothing more.

Lost me right at the "login required". No it really is not. You are providing factual information that does not require knowing who i am. No thanks.

Asking for location permission is even creepier, since i told you which airport i am starting at and desired distance, and you did successful show a map with a few hits. My actual current location is not your business. And then "would like to send you notifications"? WHY? One again. on-demand-data app. It does not need to notify me of anything!

Decided to try in spite of reviews. Still not ready for prime time.

Can’t finish creating account as the app stalls after asking for type aircraft. Restarted three times with no luck. Can’t offer an honest review because one must log in to access app features. Can’t create an account so it’s a non starter.

Bad app

App locks up on iPad. Terrible

UI & Mandatory Subscription

I was excited for this app, but unfortunately it just isn’t good. All the crucial information is locked behind a subscription (why does everything need to be monetized?). To make matters worse, there were so many UI bugs in my first two minutes using the app trying to setup my account.

Wow - a nothing burger

Saw this app advertised repeatedly in a magazine and thought it would be a lot of fun. Unfortunately, it’s all but worthless and bit stunning that they’re advertising an app and charging a subscription for a product seriously lacking in every respect. Not of any value if free, much less worthy of a subscription. Great idea, poorly executed.

Doesn’t work

I went through the login process and the app will not open. Before I logged in I did a search from Salt Lake City for 350 nautical miles which covers a significant area and it only pulled up four restaurants and I know there’s more than a dozen in the area I searched this app is not not worth the effort but it’s a good idea it’s a shame it doesn’t work

Not worth it,broken UI

Saw the AP on a aviation site, downloaded to check it out. Always looking for fun places to take my students for XC and food. Did a search and it yielded nothing. Decided to increase the distance and then it wanted to force me to buy the App! :(. No Trial, Nothing! Tried the CFI search, fill in the data, tap the search, NOTHING HAPPENS. If the search results are empty, then you should actually say that. There should be a 30 day trial, revenue should come from airports restaurants wanting to be promoted, etc. NOTHING demonstrated any value for the $50/year they want….. Deleting the App Now…

Don’t waste your time

Use AI to help instead. Developers charge monthly for something you can get for free. Will change review once they make the value proposition better.

Seriously!

Great idea to have but to pay to search for restaurants is over the top. Saw this on social media and decided to test it out did 2 searches to see what the app was capable of and they want 5 dollars so I can view more…. Rip off I’ll stick with the Hangar app more features anyways.

Issues

Total waste. Can’t login. Don’t get OTP. Tried to do a route with stop for food and nothing. Joke of an app

Ripped off. Can’t log on.

I signed up and paid the $50 but after three weeks, still unable to sign on and use this app. The developer contacted me and said there was a glitch and that they have it fixed and to try again which I did, no joy, tried again and again, still didn’t work. They then told me to delete the app and reload it. I did that three times, still cannot log on. Don’t waste your money. This app is a joke.

Neat idea, but sub kills it

I like the idea, but paying a subscription for it is idiotic. Not a chance I’m paying $5/mo or $50/year for stripped-down TripAdvisor. Horrible idea. Anyone who pays this subscription should get their medical revoked for having a sub-room temp IQ. An app like this should go free ad-supported or not exist at all.

Subscription loop

Sounds like a cool idea for an app unfortunately I wouldn’t know since I’m subscribed but as soon as I try to use it just pulls the subscription page up… says purchase restored same issue
