Calling a cab for someone else is impossible unless you dedicate your life on figuring out how this app works
I’ve downloaded this thing for the third time in the row after deleting it. I used to use flywheel when I was in Seattle, but for whatever reason got rid of it, I don’t recall. Every time I navigate to the part to update my payment details and complete the app crashes. Then the app will not open again… ever. I have to delete the app and start over. There is something seriously wrong with it and it seems the programmers are doing nothing to fix it based on other reviews I’ve read here. I give up.

Having to pay just for an estimate- bit ridiculous.
I used to be a loyal flywheel for years but now their service is terrible. There are fewer cabs available and I had one cancel on me when I was in urgent need of a ride. So ignore wondering why uber and Waymo are so bit well here’s you’re answer . It is sad because it used to be a really reliable app

This app is 100% broken.
..
App won’t work without entering a payment method but none work. Apple Pay gives an error message. Scanning credit card does nothing. Entering credit card many crashes the apo
I’ve used Flywheel before and had great service for a better cost than uber / Lyft. But the app is bad. Tried using it to get to the airport this morning. When I requested a ride it said my pickup location was too far away (and showed what I had I out as the drop off location). Ended up using Uber.
When you click on the Set up Apple Pay button, you get a pop up that says Flywheel doesn’t accept Apple Pay. When you try to scan a credit card the app snaps shut and you have to start over. When you manually enter a credit card and think, jeeze this has to work now, the app takes 3-4 minutes to scan for available drivers and then gives a pop up saying No available drivers try again later. I’ve tried multiple times. To get things figured out and finally deleted it altogether.

This is simply unbearable! The app has not been working for the second month. I need to go to a blood transfusion for my old father and the app won't open! Why do you exist?
Any time I put in a destination, the app crashes.
I feel like the app maybe just isn’t maintained or something - apple pay / wallet stopped working at all, there are two totally separate places to enter a credit card, scanning a card doesn’t work, entering the number manually crashes the app instantly, and more and more. Also while in the past drivers would accept and pick up quickly, more and more now no driver will accept, or they accept and immediately cancel. Frustrating!

I've used the Flywheel app many times to schedule rides to and from the airport, and it's worked well. However, after the last OS update, it's integration with Maps is broken, and I almost had to walk into the street in order to get it to recognize my address. I can no longer enter an address nor can I use the map to select one. App needs maintenance before it will be useful again.

The app says it supports Apple Pay but if you try to add a payment method using Apple Pay it just fails.
I’m surprised Apple let this app into the store. It’s aweful. Says my Apple Pay isn’t valid (it is), crashes when I try to manually enter in a card, and is extremely buggy. Terrible app.
I was in San Francisco and needed a way to get a cab. Long story short, I ended up with the Flywheel app. The app is not difficult to use, but it also isn’t easy. It is not very intuitive. The worst part is, there is no way to access a te riot for rides. They say they will email to you automatically, but they don’t. After reaching out to their support numerous times, I still have no receipt. They keep saying they will send it, but they never do. They have tried to blame it on me, saying I blocked them, and yet I’m getting all of their replies to my emails requesting a receipt. When I finally asked if they could just attach it to their response, they stopped responding. That is an $87 cab ride I have no receipt for so I can’t expense it to my company. I have gotten every receipt from all the other rides from other cabbies, but not theirs and they refuse to help me. I can see a record of rides on every other app, and access that receipt, but not this one. Don’t use Flywheel if you need a receipt.

This app is horrible. It charged me double the cost of the ride because my driver chose the longest route possible, and it didn't even send me a receipt for me to validate the charges. Insane. Definitely not using again
I didn’t use it much mostly because the app was always buggy. Now it doesn’t open at all. Wish I could support these guys.
I would rather support cabbies than Uber, but I'm SF the app tries locating a driver in Hayes Valley (my pickup location base), but never finds one. Also, trying to type in the address typically doesn't help the cabbies because they still ask where I want to go. The whole point of taking a cab is to say "I'm going to this corner or this store". They know the city. But now I have to lookup the precise address to use the app (before you could use the app without having to type an address). It is really challenging to find a cabbie on the app now and I end up using Uber.

I’m on the latest version of the app and it can’t log me in. Tried killing the app but it does not work
