Absolutely worthless
New Bathys headphones and I downloaded this app which is absolutely worthless. Connecting the HPs to this app to set customization, look for updates, etc, all results in an aggravating cycle of an opening/closing/rebooting process with no success whatsoever leading to frustration and disappointment. The HPs themselves are excellent, but customizing is not possible for me. I am so surprised at this given the two companies, Focal and Naim.

Very clunky interface
Now forced me to register (probably for data harvesting and spam). After weird troubleshooting, removing old presets, again provides basic control on my cube.
Naim user’s view
It works pretty well nowadays. It runs on my MAC, my iPad, my iPhone and I can switch between them and the Zigbee remote to control both my streamer and my preamp. It even wakes up a sleeping streamer so you don’t have to power up the unit from the power switch.
uPNP no volume control
Where has the volume contraction gone when playing from uPNP. Now simply missing. I get impression that every time they update this App, they managed to make it worse. Drop Focal and go back to ordering Naim App.
useless
First I paired Bathys MG over bluetooth. Then…I could not find them in the app, no matter how i tried to add them. Useless, deleted and bought the H100.
Fed up
NAIM, a fantastic product let down by an app that constantly fails to perform. Having to reboot and reconnect multiple times on a weekly basis. I was briefly considering buying a few more for units for a multi room experience but not now.

Naim produce excellent hardware, which sound fantastic, but unfortunately this App is absolutely awful!! Constantly loses connection so is pretty much useless in controlling my Uniti Star!! I spend all my time trying to reconnect rather than enjoying the music. Really not good enough Naim…….
Stopped working with Tidal
The latest update no longer works with Tidal from within the Naim app - the only way to make it work is to stream direct from Tidal…
Poor software update
So disappointed considering the hardware is great. I’ve had the Naim system for a while but the Bluetooth app is terrible. It rarely connects. It appears they don’t have anyone working on the update if the app. Help!
What’s in a Naim?
Latest update fails to pick up Naim Uniti sitting happily working on the same network - as long as it’s controlled via the Remote. App recognises Uniti name, sometimes, but can’t display presets. At other times App simply shows IP address. Come on Naim you can do better. Previous version of the App at least worked with stability.

Unity Atom app interface
App interface chronic, used to work fine but now besides removing and reinstalling etc,etc. the app simply crashes out to the point it is unusable, please please Naim reinstate the previous version of this app until the revision actually works.

Just got the Bathys MG today. Headphones themselves are beautiful and sound great. But the EQ — the entire reason I bought these — flat out does not work. Constant “please stream some music” error even with music actively playing through the headphones. “Command failed” on repeat. This isn’t a user error, it’s a broken app. For a company charging over a grand for headphones, this companion app is embarrassing. Sort it out Focal. ⭐

App goes blank and doesn’t work.
I can’t believe this has an average of two stars. If my mu-so cube speaker wasn’t so good I’d have binned it years ago. Awful app!
Like Naim kit it just works superbly.
Simple yet great interface and functionality. I use mainly on ipad to control 3x Atoms and 2x ND5 XS2's and a Core across the house.
Terrible
No longer allows connection to my Naim muso.
Good overall but has issues with Hekla
Volume settings on the app for the hekla are not correctly displayed . In the channel levels for height channels there are 3 left channels and 1 right. Can you update this bug?
Will not connect
I’ve spent hours trying to connect the Uniti Atom Headphone Edition. About 1 out of every 10 attempts, it will see the device, but the app fails to complete the setup.
Focal Bathys
Have bought 4 headphones for the family, everyone has this app. No issues for the headphones. Great app, simple, and works per expectations.
Awful
Been a long time Naim supporter and owner. Would not buy again as their app control is terrible. Once again I try and listen to music and the app is not working. No music. Now reinstalling yet again. Just awful. DO NOT BUY NAIM until they fix their software department. And that is very sad to write as somebody that has visited their factory.
