Can it be made more affordable
It's been four years no update. Could you please make it more affordable if there's gonna be no more updates.

I am SERIOUSLY urging the developer of this app to return to this app and upgrade a few things here and there
Using the camera for face detection (similar to the DJI lidar system), allowing for you to virtually offset the point that the focus is looking at in 3D space, essentially allowing you to place the lidar without needing it to be exactly parallel with the lens to function properly, and maybe a more guided calibration process
obviously that's a lot to develop, but I would seriously be willing to pay upwards not $100 for an app that does that stuff, easily.

Hi, It's been a long time coming but the app now has subject tracking, guided calibration and focus smoothing. Included in a free update.
Bluetooth connection not working
I was super excited to use this app but when I connect my camera… nothing works. I try to change the focus value and nothing changes on my camera. It’s very frustrating. Please let me know if there’s a fix as I spent the money and would love to use this app.

Hi there, I have tested this app with Panasonic Lumix lenses (focus by wire) and a Sigma Art lens (18-35, f1.8) connected to a BMPCC 4K using a Metabones 0.71x and they work as expected. If you go to the app website and leave a comment telling me your setup and I will investigate.

Работает все стабильно и боже, как это круто. За бесплатно ты получаешь реально рабочий фоллоу фокус с маркерами и возможностью быстро по ним скакать. У меня BMPCC4K и Sigma 18-35, у которой есть привод фокуса, благодаря чему я могу какое-то время поэкономить с фоллоу. LiDAR у меня нету на телефоне, поэтому, увы ничего не могу сказать по этому поводу.

Incredible app
You can spend several hundreds of dollars and get a dedicated LiDAR device, or $12 and get this. It’s as simple as that. This app is certainly a little rough around the edges, but now means I can enjoy perfectly tracked dolly or Steadicam shots where before I needed to have a dedicated focus puller on the shoot.

Great app
Cheap compared to DJI lidar, yeah a bit limited but you can’t complain.
Would be nice though to be able to select a specific place on screen in order to track subject other than in the middle of the screen

Not working I have an iPhone XR and bmpcc 6 k pro with sigma 16-35mm and it doesn’t work even if the connection is good.

I love the AB focus pulls. However, I don’t know if it’s my Sigma 18-35 or the app but most of the time the focus pull is far from accurate. Set a good A or B point, then hit the play to focus and it is way out of focus. But then sometimes it works.
Also, the lidar reports wildly different distances (iphone 13 pro max.). Ill focus on something 6 meters away, focus on something closer then go back to the 6 meters and it’ll say it’s 1.5 meters or 8 meters or 4 meters. This is pointing at a focus sheet.
The AB pull might be worth it if you have time to set it up several times in order for it to start working correctly. The one remaining issue is that the pull is instant. There is no option for a slow, cinematic pull.
The tech in this app has some promise but right now it’s not worth the purchase price or, really, free.

It works but it does NOT remember any of the marks when you restart.
Very disappointed. How hard could it be to remember what your settings were?

Habe die App mit der Pocket 4k und 6k getestet. Eine sehr gute Alternative und mit richtiger Kalibrierung auch sehr verlässlich. Dennoch könnte ein ramping zwischen den fokus Punkten das gesamte etwas abrunden. Der focus agiert sehr hektisch und für den Film look wäre ein weicherer Übergang besser.
Dennoch bin ich mir der App sehr zufrieden und kann sie empfehlen.

Focus puller
One of the life saving app I have ever download, soon going to purchase this, but you guys have to improves the interface of the app, it has to be similar to to bmpcc 6k interface or something like Snapseed app or mobile app light room
Thank you for this and please improve more and make it more stronger. Something like only 2 point calibration and it will focus everything between point which is the end & point B which is the close to camera

Works pretty good. Just make sure you update your camera’s firmware and you should be good. 👍

I’m bowled over. This is a genius idea and works very well. Now just to mount the phone to the gimbal and it’s like having a £500 LiDAR focusing unit.
There’s scope for improving the UI but for this price you can’t go wrong.

Does not work
I have a bmpcc 4k with a Viltrox adapter and a Sigma 18-35mm and it doesn’t seem to work. I did pay for the full version. I believe it might be the adapter’s fault but I’d like some help.

У меня не было возможности приобрести программу и я попросил жену скачать ее так как у нас семейный доступ к покупкам. Она скачала и оплатила программу. Но когда я через семейный доступ скачал программу мне было предложено ещё раз ее купить. Ребята исправьте срочно эту а программную ошибку. Очень жаль, что не продумали этот момент, завтра день рождения сына, очень надеялся что съемка пройдёт хорошо, но теперь буду снимать на ручном фокусе…
