After the company folded, the customers of the Foil Inc electric hydrofoils carried on supporting each other on Facebook forums to keep their boards running. Unfortunately, this app is now useless because it can only operate when it finds the Foil inc website in the cloud. I wish more companies would plan for contingencies where the app would at least function in its basic form to determine battery levels and other stats.

Am I doing this wrong?
I have two foils and therefore two batteries and two remotes.
The app allows to see the state of charge of each battery and controller when they are awake.
However, every time I go to the main menu the app searches for the components again! Since they show up in the list in a random order and non of the parts can be renamed, it’s pure guesswork what battery status I’m looking at. I can also not see the battery status, health, cell balancing, charge rate, nothing!
Bottom line, this is the worst telemetry display ever conceived and should get a significant update!
