Fraudulent services - beware before you pay
Food Darzee is nothing but a scam when it comes to their so-called services in Pune. They take your money upfront even though they do not provide service here at all. Their agents blatantly mislead customers with false promises just to close sales. After payment, there is absolutely no way to reach them—no working helpline, no proper customer support, and zero accountability.
I have been waiting for over a for a refund since 15th July, and all I’ve received is silence. This is not just poor service—it’s cheating customers. They take your hard-earned money with no intention of delivering what they promise.
Food Darzee, if you can’t provide a service, stop misleading people and stop stealing their money. Until they fix this, I strongly urge others to stay away from this app unless you want to waste your money and get nothing in return.

The worst decision you can make is to order from here
I moved to a new city and needed a food solution so I decided to try their dabbago service. I subscribed for lunch and dinner for only three days and these three days were the worst days of my life. The portion was so little, I was constantly hungry. The food was extremely bad, the taste, the smell, it did not even match the menu that they had given. On the third day, they only delivered my lunch and missed my dinner, instead of feeling bad, I felt actually happy, that I don’t have to continue eating this trash food. Didn’t even receive a refund for it, but atleast the food stopped coming. Wouldn’t even recommend this to my enemies, food darzee should shut their operations

Avoid Food Darzee at All Costs
I'm writing this review as a warning to others: stay far, far away from Food Farzee! Our experience was an unmitigated disaster from start to finish.
First off, I specifically ordered a low-carb diet, but every single meal was carb-heavy. It was like they didn't even read my order. To make matters worse, my husband ordered a weight loss diet, and guess what? We both received the exact same meal. Unbelievable.
But that was just the beginning. Every meal was spoiled with a pungent smell that made our stomachs turn. When we tried to call them, no one picked up. No response, no apology, no nothing.
The lack of variety in their meals is staggering. Every meal has mushroom, makes me wonder how old is it. The gravy is exactly same in all meals. They give a pathetic chocolate eclairs in a weight loss and low carb diet. No fruit or healthy meal. And at what cost? They charge you 250 bucks for each of these subpar meals. The portion sizes are really really less - you'd think they'd at least try to fill us up given the prices they're charging.
Taste? Forget about it. The food is flavourless and unappetising. And to top it all off, we found dirt in our meals. Yes, you read that right. Dirt.

Stopped taking food midway
The quality of service and food has deteriorated significantly over time. Customer support is virtually nonexistent, and the nutritionist stopped replying to msgs. Despite using their services for over a year, I’ve seen no progress in my weight loss journey. The food provided is consistently subpar, and no corrective action has been taken to address its quality. Today, the delivery person simply left my order outside my house without any communication. At this point, it seems like this business is no longer committed to its customers and should consider shutting down.

Unsatisfactory service
This has been the most pathetic experience I’ve ever had with a company. I subscribed for Morning meal but later had to change it to evening. I was not getting any confirmation that it had been updated on the app but the nutritionist told me it’s done in the back end. Next day I get the same morning meal delivered in the evening for the next couple of days. This is repeated twice and I’m getting confirmation that the changes have been made when nothing was done. Atlast frustrated I cancel my subscription asking for a refund. I am told I’ll get it within 10-18 days. A couple of days post that I get a message that my subscription is on pause which I never requested it to be. I message them and they say it is cancelled. It’s been more than 20 days and I’ve still not received my refund. This is a pathetic app/company and recommend not to go with it.

Regretting for subscribing food darzee
Had very bad experience with food darzee, they wud not serve quantity of food u need, quality s also not to mark, on some days they wont deliver food without any prior notice, so be ready for making emergency alternate arrangements, on some days they will provide food on inappropriate time, if u subcribe n request for nonveg food they will keep on providing veg food giving different reasons despite requesting multiple times, if u ask them to cancel subscription n request for refund, they wont refund ur money, neither they will respond to ur calls or messages.

Frauds!
A bunch of frauds are running this company. First of all, they serve spoiled food. They cook and freeze it for God knows how long and then deliver to people. This entire chain of preparation and delivery is not disclosed, only when uou receive frozen food. Upon cancelling meals, you can forget about getting a refund. I have been following up for more than a month, but only ending up speaking to unprofessional people, if at all you manage to reach anyone. When onboarding a customer, 15 people will magically appear and call you from different numbers. There is just no sign of any business ethics or quality related to this company. If you want to fall sick, go ahead and give them your money. Sheer waste of time, money, energy paying and dealing with these people. With the number of bad reviews on this app, just amazed how they are still operating. Absolutely unimaginable as to how they are in business. Total sham. Should be shut down immediately. Deserves less than 1 star.

Their nutritionist, has been instrumental in helping me identify the ideal diet plan tailored to my needs. Heath and good food review
I signed up with Food Darzee to manage my calorie intake and improve my health, but my experience has been deeply disappointing. Within a few days of starting the plan, I received food that was slightly spoiled. I dismissed it as a one-time issue, but this happened again, and eventually, I received food that was so spoiled it was inedible.

Do NOT pay for this service
I tried their service for 5days at first and thought it was good so signed up for another 30.
There’s a lack of transparency; I don’t know if they follow the macros recommended by the nutritionist because each meal does not come with macro information. They have suggested 40g of protein total but I don’t see that much chicken being sent in my meals.
I haven’t faced any issues with getting bad food. The food was fine and tastes good generally.
I did have issues with getting the wrong meals (further making me suspicious that macros are not followed) and not getting 1 meal when I renewed/changed my subscription.
Quantity for breakfast and snack is not sufficient and quantity for lunch is fine for me personally but for a person larger than me (average height, slightly overweight woman) will not feel satiated.
The app also lacks basic subscription control like skipping meals, pausing etc.
I never received an invoice for the times I bought a subscription so I had no proof of what I bought.
They send every meal in a plastic containers which is really terrible for the environment.
It is overall an expensive service when you compare with other food services and lacks transparency.
Will not repurchase.

I received the wrong order AGAIN, I sent a pic of it. i was asked to take a pic of the outer packaging this time, A DAY LATER. Why would I keep the packaging??
At this point I decided to ask for a refund. I was what my concerns are because my previous issues were reported.
If they were reported why do I keep getting the wrong order randomly? They make you beg for a cancellation.

Worst food app
Please everyone read the reviews before taking any discussion. I opted their subscription based service.. the food was rotten most of the time and they deliver your food in the morning you have to refrigerate it till the all meals are over that itself is a proof that even they don’t create fresh food.. I was told that I can pause or carry forward my food but that option was also not available. Please if you don’t want diarrhea don’t eat anything from them.

Genuine review from Hyderabad user
I was prediabatic and had very high triglycerides and crossed borderline of cholesterol levels. To get fit my wife suggested Food darzee. I have opted veg course-for 1 and half month of subscription and followed diet with daily cardio exercise very strictly. Also had my dinner by 6 PM daily. By end of the course I have seen unbelievable medical test results. Everything is under control- triglycerides came down within the range and good cholesterol improved and bad cholesterol reduced. Sugar level improved a lot. Overall I am a super happy customer
Extra food I had during this time is Raagi java, fruits and dry fruits.
Note- at times it’s very difficult to eat due to taste. But pls be commited for outcome and in the worst case you can request dietician to change menu for future meals.

Why I'm obsessed with Food Darzee
I’ve got to say, this app has made healthy eating so much easier for me! Their customized meal plans are spot on, matching both my fitness goals and taste preferences.
The meals are actually delicious, which I wasn’t expecting from a health service. Plus, having them delivered straight to my door saves me so much time. I also love how their calorie tracker on the app keeps me on track, and the nutritionists are always there if I need any help.

Amazing experience
Was looking for sustainable weight loss and healthy eating, my eating patterns were not stable, firstly i was sceptical about trying food darzee but their service is amazing the food was so tasty so much of variety, nutritionist nd the whole team was very kind and helpful

The interface is easy to use, I can make changes to delivery addresses easily. Even can browse through menu and choose preferences. The nutritionist allotted to me was super helpful. Meals were delivered on time and the service was seamless. Will subscribe again for sure

- tasty food (but I’ve seen recurring options in just 2 weeks) (note: snacks are tiny and not worth it)
Cons:
- nutritionists communication varies and they don’t provide you with enough info make informed nutrition decisions if you’re actually trying to reach a goal
- small portions
- cutting corners - not a big deal but as soon as you go off trial, you switch from branded packaging to brown paper bags - not sure if this is a sign where they might cut corners elsewhere.
Overall, for service 3/5: useful for convenience of food delivery for busy people. Not helpful if you’re really watching your food intake to reach a goal. Nutritionists don’t provide enough information (ex: how many total calories you should eat a day) and it’s not personalised to you like they advertise. There’s a generic “info guide” in the app that’s provided, that’s all. I worked with 2 nutritionists for my family - one didn’t even reach out after the initial contact. The other is basically there for app support.

These people are just making profit out of this business and nothing else. They don’t have any intention of helping people lose weight or eat nutritious food or healthy food.

Over a period of 10-15 days, I ended up with an upset stomach that lasted five days and severely affected my health, pushing me weeks behind in my progress. I requested a refund and was connected with management, who agreed to refund the cost of the undelivered food. However, it has been over a week, and I have yet to receive any confirmation about when I’ll get my refund. Despite following up multiple times, I have received no updates. It’s frustrating that a service meant to support my health ended up harming it instead. I would expect a quicker resolution, especially considering the severity of the issues I faced. The lack of response and the delay in processing the refund are unacceptable and have left me with a very negative experience.
Update: it’s been more than 15 days, there is no response from the food Darzee team regarding refund. This is completely unethical.
