Constant server disconnects
I constantly get dropped from the game server and hit with connection errors. Hoping to fix this, I completely upgraded from a 2021 iPad to a brand-new current-gen iPad—only to experience the exact same disconnects at the exact same rate.
This isn't a problem with device performance or memory; it's a flaw in how the app handles network connections. Instead of silently reconnecting in the background when a momentary signal drop happens, the app completely freezes up and loses server sync, forcing me to force-close and restart the game every single time.
Developers: Please fix your network stack and background reconnection logic. Players shouldn't have to constantly restart the app on brand-new hardware just to stay connected.

The quest are ridiculous. When you don’t need a. Army base they make you have one.😡 YOU HAVE COMPLETELY SCREWED UP EXPEDITIONS!!!
Overall a good experience
Started playing Forge of Empires (FOE) in about the first COVID lockdown (2020) to keep me entertained. Overall I’ve enjoyed the game through the ages but I’m pretty disappointed with the final age - Space Age Space Hub. It’s almost as if Inno didn’t expect anyone to make the final age and put no thought into it. Slow, boring, takes forever to achieve anything. I’ll keep plugging away but spend minimal time on it now.

I love it very much and it’s addicting, and fun. I only had it for a few days but still it’s super fun. There’s one thing I dislike. You can really turn to see it from a different side. I don’t know how to explain it much, hope you understand! Thank you for making a very good game.
Deleted city
When I first saw this app I thought that it will be a fun game and it was and I spent lots of days and months playing it until after the latest
update, for some reason it had deleted all of my city and restarted me. Sorry but I’m not playing anymore

Some parts are SOOOO anoying, but overall good game
I got stonework and thought I was almost at the next era, but STONEWORK DOESNT LEAD TO ANYTHING!!!!!!!!!! AND IT TOOK ME TWO DAYS TO CATCH UP!!!
Expensive Game to Play
FOE is an entertaining game to play but, if you’re going to get anywhere in this game, it’s going to cost you several hundreds of dollars in the long run. All of the games algorithms seem to be designed to separate a player from all of his assets as quickly as possible. There are also many many glitches in the software which always seem to deny or short a player from achieving the most from their hard earned play. If you are a retired individual on a fixed income or a young person who should be building a 401K for your future retirement in my opinion, this game isn’t for you. These are strictly my opinion and I’m telling you as I see it but, I’m trying to be as honest and helpful as I can be to new or prospective players. I do play and I have been for a while now and yes, I’ve spent a lot of money. In good conscience I can “NOT” recommend this game.

I love this game so much and have for a little under a decade. I can’t believe how great it is after so many years. I hope they continue to make more ages and cool things. As soon as I opened this game I got a text saying there was an attempt to purchase $398 on Apple Pay. And there wasn’t any charges on my account and shouldn’t be cause I only have $1.80 in there. But still it’s quite weird to get a text from an unknown number that isn’t even a United States number as soon as you open a game. I quickly uninstalled.

Downloads should be easy not waiting forever

Love this game
This is a progressive, hop in and hop out sort of game, where you spend 30 minutes collecting and assigning your resources, and participating in battles (not online ones) and then you wait for things to upgrade. I have been playing the game for multiple years and have created multiple profiles to start again and help out other players. You can pay for upgrades, but it does not affect the game play (it speeds things up and gives bigger bonuses) so I rarely do, but I do watch the occasional video (through choose, they are not forced) to perform mass updates occasionally. I still love it and would recommend it to any prospective players who like this type of gameplay.

If you enjoy building a city, and fighting. Then this game has it all and lots of annoying ads. It wasn’t the annoying ads would’ve gotten five stars.

Frustrating!
I’m trying to build an Armored Car Factory! It keeps saying it’s not connected to the roads even though it’s touching roads that other buildings used to be connected to! The Machine Factory is doing the same thing! Are you trying to fix your defective game? Help! I put these buildings next to the mother road in front of my castle and it still says it’s not connected! The mechanized artillery doesn’t work either! It’s not the roads, it’s a major defect in rage buildings! I deleted all of the roads and replaced them! The same buildings still won’t work! This game is extremely defective!
