Two stars make it better than Facebook but it is still facebooking hard
I remember the dedicated Facebook Groups app; it was pretty good. I also recall the Facebook Pages app, which is a stripped-down version of Facebook and was also quite good. This Facebook Forum app has a lot of potential, but it's missing content control, which is crucial. I was very hopeful when I installed this app that I would only see content from the groups I follow. However, when I open the app, it constantly gives me suggested content. I don't want any suggested content; I only want to see the groups that I follow. If I want new content, I will intentionally search for it and subscribe to new content. At no point do I ever want suggested content again in my entire life. Please disable 100% of suggested content or give us a toggle to do so, and this app will immediately be a five-star app. Right now, the average ratings in the App Store are 4.7 stars. People must be tasteless monsters or bots; there's no way any sensible, half-intelligent human being would rate this a 4.7 out of 5 stars when they have no control over the content they see.

Cannot upload any videos, posts disappear, using as a group admin difficult. I’m not quite sure what the purpose of this app is? You cannot go into your groups without manually clicking them because of the spam “for you” type of home page, no ability to go Live, user interface dumbed down.
I do not want to use the full Meta app. I’d wager most do not as it has become near impossible to use the way people want. Listen to your user base. No one wants the constant ads, suggested pages, etc. Meta is not even a shadow of what Facebook used to be. It’s a joke.

not worth the download
Thought maybe this would be the answer to utilizing the Groups section of Facebook. Nope. To not have the option to see posts in proper chronological order is what makes this app useless. Creates even more of a problem with trying to interact with groups. No sense in having it unless you enjoy seeing posts from 5 days ago instead of the latest stuff that you should be seeing.
Limited options. Settings is just as limited and just opens up the regular Facebook app.

Love it
Its organized, and so much more convenient when you’re mainly trying to keep up with your Facebook groups. Everything feels less cluttered and easier to get to without having to scroll through a bunch of unrelated stuff. I’ve really been enjoying it so far!
Like FBs original purpose
FB lately has been AI slop and force fed posts based on an algorithm. The only reason I am on FB is for the marketplace and the 20 grouos I have to be in. This app makes it so I can see the posts I need to see quickly for school or work or sports without all the undesired posts. Now just make a seperate Marketplace app and thr ability to only include posts from a specific time period and I will be good.
