Baller addition to my Cobalt
Let’s me see a ton of useful data about my 2003 Mercruiser mag mpi including gas gallons per hour and impeller PSI.
Untapped potential.
Works as described. Can you imagine though if it had the ability to display gauge data semi transparent on top of navionics charts.... now that’d be a winner.
Please fix marine offer at least graphs or dials. Even logging on a chart for trends and troubleshooting. So much potential !!!!

Works flawlessly
I have a power boat with two Crusader 330HP MEFI-4 engines. I share the boat with two other guys, and we agree to keep the tanks half full, instead of lugging around another half ton of petrol. At the end of each trip, we used to try to guess how much fuel to put in. The trouble is, the fuel gauge is not very accurate, and the reading depends to some extent on the battery voltage. We looked around for a fuel flow monitor to tell us how much we used each trip, but because our engines have return fuel lines, figuring out fuel flow is not easy. Enter Fox Marine, and it’s MEFI4 engine gateways that get fuel flow directly from the engine control units and put it out as PGN 127489 and PGN 127488 NMEA2000 signals. Installation is a breeze - the gateways just plug into the engine diagnostic port and the NMEA bus and away you go. Once on the NMEA bus, it’s very straightforward to put the data on to your MFD. We have a Raymarine A8, and it works great. At the end of each cruise the amount of fuel used by both engines is displayed. I have no hesitation in recommending Fox Marine. Allen Murrow, the owner, is a pleasure to deal with, and the level of support he gives is just outstanding.

Simple & easy
This is a great little app. I wish it had more options such as resetting the tps and some ui options , but it is very effective and the gateway is aces A++++
Great Product
I recently installed a Fox Marine Gateway on my 2004 Ebbtide and I'm amazed at how well it works. Installation was simple plug and play.
The APP provides a lot of detailed information from the ECM.
My only suggestion to the developer would be to offer an APP that translates the input data into usable gauge format. Which would allow users without a chartplotter to use the built in Bluetooth to display the engine gauges on a iPad or tablet thus making the Gateway nearly a "stand alone" system. I know boaters would be more than happy to purchase such useful APP.
