Bookings mean nothing
Book a taxi 2 days in advance. Phoned on day and told be with me in 10 minutes later. Them im called 10 minutes later and told 30 minutes! I missed my train because of Frankie’s taxi
So reliable.
Have been using Frankie’s for several years and highly recommended them. Very reliable, always on time and good value. What else could you want?
Do Not Use! They will leave you stranded.
This company is a joke, and they are liars. Booked a taxi 3 hours in advance. Arrived at a train station 40 mins from home after a day of international travel, and they canceled the booking last minute with no phone call or any notification. Driver from the same company there said “don’t use the app, we don’t use the app”. It’s literally their own app. So I called the office and the rude person who answered said “I canceled your booking because I don’t have cars until midnight”. The app had said the car was available and reserved. Terrible business. Will not ever use them again. Least they could have done is call to say they weren’t sending someone.

Got text message on the day to say taxi was on route. It arrived. Lovely, friendly lady driver. Got us to our destination no trouble at all. Wish there were more female taxi drivers out there like this lady.

Missed train
Having booked my taxi for 14:20 several days in advance, I allowed plenty of time to reach the Railway Station to catch my train. At 14:13 I received a message that my driver was on his way and 20 minutes away! With 3 minutes to go I went out to stand by the road in the rain to wait for him. 2 phone calls and several minutes later he finally found me and we reached the station just in time to see my train pulling out! I have had to buy another expensive train ticket and have an hour to wait until the next train. Absolutely fed up with Frankie’s Taxis and their casual approach to time keeping today. 😖
