To cancel your subscription, go to your iPhone's Settings > [your name] > Subscriptions, and you can cancel from there, it's not something that's done within the app itself. If you subscribed on the web, go to www.freedom.to and login with your account to manage your subscription. Design flaw

The app works fine but I deleted it recently because my battery is suddenly draining fast. I went to redownload it and accidentally clicked the sign up button. There needs to be a way to cancel the new user on-boarding! It is so frustrating it delete then redownload the app to cancel it.

Decent app, bad payment

The app is good. It delivers on what it promises. I have a massive issue with the bait and switch on payments, though. I went to cancel the next renewal for a year and was encouraged by the developer to renew at a cheaper rate. So I did. Which charged me instantly for a year…8 months of which have already been paid for by my initial payment. Caveat emptor, yall.

It’s excellent - I hate it

This app is the perfect way to reduce your screen time. I am a full-on screen addict and have found loopholes with this app/platform but there’s a way to lock those loopholes down. Right now I’m in a session and I really want to end it and scroll, but I’m in locked mode everywhere so I can’t. I hate it, but it works. 10/10, helps you force yourself to disconnect.

Best productivity app I’ve ever used

I’ve been raving about this app to my friends haha. For over 2 years now. I almost never write reviews but I had to give these guys their props.

Only caveat is that I figured out how to end sessions on Locked Mode, of which it’s not really a knock on them, considering how resourceful I can be when backed into a corner

The Best Blocking App

I have tried all the blocking apps and this is the best. I need to have a hard lock out of apps otherwise I will find my way in! It’s been a life saver truly. I use it on my iPhone and laptop.

Perfect during non F2F time

Got the one time payment via website for half price. I noticed how much time I was wasting during work. Got this to test it out and bought it immediately. Easy to use, can add specific apps (up to 50) to block. Has a break mode to press when you are on break, and uses language to discourage you from stopping it (worked for me)

Works for me- Easy to use

If you are someone who has developed self accountability and self discipline enough to respond to a nudge or reminder when tempted to open up an app, then the freedom app will work for you. I love how I can select which apps to be blocked and the duration of time they’re to be blocked for. It gives how much time you have remaining, and if absolutely necessary, you can unblock an app sooner than the initially selected time.

Great app

I especially like that you can now take a 5 minute break. It makes it less likely I’ll cancel the entire session. It’s good to have repeating sessions too. Just set and forget.
