Cannot renew anything. Just loads malware and viruses on the advertisements. What a scam.
Havent been able to renew free plan since November 2024
Can no longer renew free plan on website. Prompts users to do via app which hasnt worked in over 9 months

The app is not smooth and buggy. Auto voice CS outdated too.
Horrible app and service
After 7-8 months of “Internal server error” message, this 2.0.0 version is even worse. If you want to get rid of the free plans, just say so. Stop pretending and waste users’ time.
Ad filled and buggy.
The app is full of ads. I have a free plan which they no longer allow you to self renew. The monthly renew process is broken and you must talk to a person to get the plan renewed.
No point in using app
What is the point of the app if it gives Internal Server Error for over 6 months and requires agent renewal every month. If you want to get rid of free plans, just say so. Just stop pretending developers are working on fixing the app.
Can’t even sign up
I know you probably want free cell service, but this ain’t the app too. You can’t sign up. The app broke

The app and website are useless outside of the initial setup it takes several attempts on the website to pay my bill the app is laughable no useful links like a renew button at least not for the lower end plans this is my third month with them and I am greatly disappointed ☹️ I just wanna pay my bill

Unable to Login to the App in order to renew
I can log in just fine from web, but when I try from the app, it just spins and does nothing. Looks like I’ll be cancelling and deleting my account. No point in spending money on something I can’t log in to manage.

In early June, they rolled out an update to fix free plan renewal. It’s still broken, I have not been able to renew my plan for about half a year now. I will never give this company any of my money due to the very poor experience.
Generic icon showing on iPad ?!?!?
Weird but installed FreedomPop app on my iPad and it’s showing some weird generic icon for the app as if FreedomPop app has no icon BUT it shows an FreedomPop icon on my iPhone 🤔
Unable to renew
While I understand they are in it to make money but when you cannot even provide a simple method to renew the service it’s pretty bad. First they took away the renewal function from a normal web browser and force everyone to use an “app” which is nothing more than a Safari wrapper. However, that browser wrapper doesn’t even work right as it cannot renew my plan as it states it’s being blocked from renewal.
As of right now I don’t have any means to renew the service since the desktop browser is removed, mobile browser is removed, and the official app doesn’t work either. I am now forced to contact someone at their support line to see how to actually “renew.”
Customer service is a lost art but even providing a bare minimum service seems like a stretch for this company.

Not happy, can’t renew subscription via web browser, now you show ads.
Extremely disappointing that I can no longer renew my subscription via desktop web browser now I have to download an app to renew my subscription and as I am trying to renew an advertisement popped up that I have to wait for to go away before I can continue with the renewal process. I am not happy about this.

I use their SIM for my cycling computer. But, to force me to see ads just to check the status of my account in their app is ridiculous. Uninstalling this junk. Just bookmark the site.
