Crash and not even updated for iphone 6 , got a ar drone but can't use it . Extremely unhappy is a small word

Is this some kind of ridiculous joke? I pull out my parrot to show the neighbourhood kids this cool flying video game for the first time this spring, and lo and behold! I am forced to download this buggy garbage app that doesn't work. Is this your idea of product support? I was warned not to buy a Parrot, but I didn't listen. Won't happen again.

No accelerometer on app anymore
I just went to use my Parrot AR Drone for for the first in ages.
My old app I used has been upgraded to AR Drone version 2.
I downloaded the Free Flight version 1 app and expected to fly my AR Drone as usual with the accelerometer. I was confused as why it wasn't reacting to my inputs and had no control.
I crested then realised the change you have made.
Please put back the accelerometer control to the app Free Flight version 1

The drone it's self is amazing and fun but I cant use tilt mode and that's a big part of the app and why take it off
Nice little App
Well I accidentally let my phone update this App and now I've lost the accelerometer control function. You now have to control the Drone with the touch screen which I don't find as easy or enjoyable as being able to just tilt the iPone to change direction. I don't seem to be able to downgrade to the previous version either so I'm sorry to say I will be deleting this App and looking different one to control my Drone.

Bring back tilt mode. Then this'll be 5 stars again.
Accelerometer Remove?
Why remove it it was the best feature about the AR Drone as It was easy to pilot and now you guys got rid of it. Because you have done this I crashed it into a bush and now my blades are all chopped up. Could you guys please add it back in I'm sure you would make a lot of people happy. I'm giving this version 3 stars because you guys ruined my day.

Why ?
Why would you remove an option that can be turned on or off if you wish ? Some like some don't that's why you can turn ON or OFF.
False advertisement = Parrot AR.Drone
Just purchased my new AR.drone. On the new retail box it says I can control the drone with accelerometer / tilt control on my iPhone/iPad, but apparently that is false advertisement. No explanation as to why that feature is removed. "Joystick mode" is worthless.

Why did they get rid of absolute control? No accelerometer? Ill be holding off on the update. Seems odd to be removing features rather than adding them.
What about newer for iPhones??!
I have a new AR Drone 1. it says this app is only good for the iPhone 3 or itouch 2. holy 2008!! I downloaded this to try to use with my iPhone 4G, but it won't connect to my WiFi network. how are we supposed to fly it with newer phones?! I see a lot of secondary developer apps, but they all have a ton of negative reviews. at $300 a pop you can't keep your apps updated Parrot?!!

No app for the drone 2.0, lame. Had mine for a week and thinking about sending it back.
FreeFlight 2
Got the ArDrone 2. Looks great but then went to download FreeFlight 2 and it was NOT there. FF 1 doesn't deal with the HD video and therefore provides no path for the future of my $300 quad.
Talk about a rip-off, Parrot said to use the Race app. Of course, being new to quad copters, I would smash the Drone into a tree and ruin the ability of returning it.
So, I looked for a week for the return of FF 2 and no help from Parrot. Lame! At the end of the week I returned the Drone.
Fairwell to Parrot, you lose in every way.
Great potential product, terrible product support.

Really?
Purchased an AR Drone only to find it essentially incompatible with iOS due to no available app. except for buggy third party ones. Parrot customer service suggests using a "Race" app. I just bought the thing (300 bucks), I am not ready to race it! I just want an app that will allow me to control the thing. It sure looks fun, but it's sitting in the box useless at this point.
