Arrogant Behaviour of Freelancer Chat Support! Considering themselves as GOD .. SHAME
I shared my contact information on my old account a long time ago, and that account was deleted. I decided to create a new account, only to be told that I am somehow a “threat to their business.” What kind of nonsense is that?
Do mistakes only happen from our side while you consider yourselves incapable of making any? Please come out of this arrogance. No business is bigger than its customers, and no brand is above accountability.
I am simply asking for another chance and promising that I will not violate the rules again. Instead of showing some basic courtesy and understanding, you are choosing to turn a blind eye.
Please remember that arrogance never lasts forever. Every action has consequences, and karma always comes back. Show some respect and humanity toward the people who are genuinely asking for an opportunity to correct their mistakes.

Great platform to outsource work

Scam
Posted a project on this app with milestone set up. First payment was for $125 just for a sample scammer creator asked to talk on some other website prototype. Contacted customer support to try and cancel. They said I can’t cancel despite the fact nothing has been delivered. There’s nothing there. Other than their scammer that they host asking for me to send money to him on PayPal. Then they blocked my chat. I can’t even message the scammer to tell him to cancel it. They blocked it. This site is absolute trash and garbage avoided at all costs.

I do like the platform but it is unfortunate that they take so much of your project payment in fees. I also think they shouldn’t take said money until you’ve actually been paid, instead when you accept a project. On a positive note, it is fairly quick and easy to get in contact with their support team when you need help :)

Very concerning privacy issue
Very concerning privacy issue. I requested deletion/removal of my Freelancer.com profile almost two weeks ago, but my profile still appears when searching on Google. I have now had to send another formal request asking them to remove the public profile and confirm that my personal information is no longer accessible.
Account/profile deletion should mean the public profile is actually removed, not left visible or searchable. The process is unclear and unreasonably slow, and users should not have to repeatedly contact support to stop their personal information from remaining online.
Freelancer.com needs to handle profile deletion and privacy requests much more seriously.

No actual talent, just scams
Do not be fooled by this app; it has no actual artists of any kind, and is instead just filled with Indian scammers who use AI half of the time, and will aggressively spam you demanding you for more work.
Keeping my money
They make it hard to withdraw deposits. I have $100 and can find a way to deploy so return it Funny how your systems always are designed like this. Refund my money

Awful waste of money and a scam
DO NOT USE THE APP! They will charge you and then remove your inquiry, they will give a “refund” that you can’t withdraw to your bank account, the advisors are unhelpful also, DO NOT RECOMMEND!!!!!
