Bring back the delete button!!
I have been a loyal customer since Friendly started, but I hate the newest update. There is no way to delete anything. I now have a bunch of movies in my stuff that I have seen and no way to delete them. This is so frustrating. It was great the way it was before. Having to go thru every movie or show I have recorded in the past and have seen takes up too much time. I am wondering if this app is even worth it anymore. Between no delete button and not every episode of old shows, and all the “add on’s” I’m thinking it may be time to cancel.

The App doesn’t work since you ‘squished bugs and improved performance’. Please fix this.
I’ve shut down my device and restarted it several times. Nothing. The error message says to Update but when I try to update it says that it can’t and I should try again later. I’ve been trying for two days. Nothing 😢.
Definitely a great app at a great price!
I love the great selection of channels Frndly offers, and how the app is so easy to navigate!
Bring back the delete button
I have been a loyal subscriber for years, but recently the delete button has disappeared. If I record something and then don’t like it I can’t delete it. Everything stays in my stuff. And there are so many shows that are add on only. This is so frustrating because there are movies and shows I have seen, but would like to watch again. Don’t like this latest update.

Good shows but…
The app has good shows but it is TERRIBLE when you try to fast forward or rewind.
Latest App Update is a Mess
Your latest app update has caused issues with the show recording process. It used to be if I recorded a movie it would stay for 9 months and disappear. When I looked at it on my list it would show the date recorded, if it was shown again I could delete it and then record it again and the date would update. Now I can’t delete anything from my list and if I schedule a movie to record again if it is already recorded it shows up in the recently recorded list but the date never changes.

Too many commercials!
Way too many commercials 15 in a row. Ten mins later commercials again, same amt . I have free TV apps with way fewer commercials. I wouldn’t even use this app if it were free!

I’ve been trying for 30+ mins to sign into this app with the email and password I just subscribed with. I’ve done EVERYTHING and it won’t work!! Worst app ever!!!!!
I miss Frndly!
I subscribed to Frndly TV a year or more ago but stopped recently. The stream would cut off near the end of a show or movie and that became so disappointing and frustrating. This happened several times a week. My devices showed strong WiFi signals so I'm perplexed about it all but hope to rejoin again sometime down the road, if it gets better. I love the channel lineup.

Glitches??
Frndly had been a great app but lately one of my stations I watch frequently will just start spinning and I have to go out of the app and back in. This happens several times during a one hour show.
The other thing recently that has started happening is I have to sign in to the app at least once a week. Not sure if this is a glitch or if something has changed. It is frustrating.

Update Frustration
Going through the process of restarting the modem, restarting the Apple TV and uninstalling the app and reinstalling the app just for the sake of ad tracking was enough to justify canceling the subscription. You were saved by my love of Svengoolie.
Recording a movie
If you are watching the Hallmark channel and you see a movie that is going to debut in two or three weeks you can’t go to the search bar, find the movie and record it once because it will record it five or six times. You have to record it from the guide, which is impossible for a movie that’s going to be so far in the future. customer service was no help.

I’ve been using frndly TV since it came out
Friendly TV has gotten better and better. With more and more stations. When I first got it, I think it had about 10 or 12 stations. I love the shows. It’s very inexpensive and I’ve never ever had a problem with it.
DVR leaves something to be desired
I mostly use this for the kids because of MeTV toons. The problem is that metadata for shows are sent to the dvr sometimes as full blocks or sometimes as individual shorts. The auto play is not configurable so it just throws up the next item on the list. I put it on Woody Woodpecker, it plays one short, and then autoplays Moonfall. Over and over. Like I’ve been transported to a 1940s cinema. Even when I deleted Moonfall, it would still queue it up and play it. This went on for months.
There is no rhyme or reason for why some cartoon blocks are treated as one block but then the same block is treated as shorts. Bugs Bunny also does it depending on if it’s MeTv toons(daily block) or MeTv weekend (all shorts). So I have like 300 episodes of this cartoon block.
Then there are repeats. If it’s a repeat it shows multiple airings but then you play an episode and it plays the last one you watched.
Hopefully this is fixed.

Frustrated

In the past, if I recorded a show I thought I might like, but didn’t, I could cancel future recordings by clicking on the show, saved in ‘My Stuff’, select ‘delete’ and then ‘delete current and future recordings’ or something like that.

Buffering
App sucks always buffering, at first I thought it was my wifi but after using multiple wifi and data it sucks every 5 minutes it stops
Works great on iPhone
This app has never let me down. It operates quickly without any glitches. ( I can’t say the same for other platforms that I use. )
Great Channels but have to Sign In EVERY time you Launch app
You get like 46 channels in Blu-Ray quality 1080p for $10 with DVR you can set the previous day or a week ahead. If you hate current network TV like we do, but love 50's, 60's, 70's, 80's Classic TV . . this is your channel.
We watch Friendly more than any other app mainly because the shows made during this era were so much better! The actors were actually talented with a storyline that didn't go into politics, gender, race . . you just enjoy the program. It brings a smile

I have been using Frndly TV for a little over six months now. Overall it’s a semi usable service. Things kind of work but not reliably. Sometimes shows show up as expected other times they disappear. This includes recordings. At this point I would say stay away from this service. Even though it’s cheaper it hasn’t improved at all in the past six plus months. I am going to switch to something more reliable like Philo even though I’m going to be paying more.
