The sound ID feature is cool but…
I’m unsure how accurate it is, and unlike MerlinID, it doesn’t give you a listing of the frogs as they are calling… I recognize this app doesn’t have the ability to do that in real time, perhaps because that requires a large database and funding, but I was hopefully this would be a bit more user friendly. Also it only let me listen to one set of calls and try to ID them.

Ai use and incorrect ID
This app uses ai generated imagery in its menu rather than real frog photography (wtf) showing its creators have no real appreciation for the natural world. In addition to this, when given sound from a frog it gave me a species not even present in the country I’m in. Terrible
Charged right away
I downloaded the app for the free trial. I was charged immediately. I can see the free trial and the charge on the same day at reportaproblem.apple.com.
Lousy
This fake app couldn’t even record frog sounds, or import previously recorded sounds. No audio functionality whatsoever.
No Instructions on How to Cancel
I looked for a way to cancel my free subscription within an hour of signing up. The only contact info was a gmail address and a website. Received a message that could not find server with web url. Have emailed hoping it is actually monitored. There was only a statement in terms that say one is charged if not cancelled. But no info on the cancellation process.
