Why use it? I can read a strip

There is no place to track dates of chlorine cartridges mineral replacement. Also would be great to have water check/replacement reminders

Used to be helpful now it’s useless

This used to be a super helpful app for balancing your water, especially if using a frog floater with it. It would tell you exactly how much sodium bicarbonate, hardness increased, etc to add. Just opened it for the new season and it’s completely different and useless. Feels like they let ChatGPT rewrite it. It says to add chlorine before balancing? I’ve never heard this in years of owning a pool, and basic research tells me this is wrong. Just for further info, I filled I up the test info and said yes my chlorine was a normal level. Test results come back and say “ok open the frog another click”. Ummmn that is not going to help me when my tap water is 20ppm hardness and I need to add around a pound or so of calcium carbonate? Idk guess this is the death of what was a genuinely helpful app. Def will be looking up my own calculations and won’t be buying frog floaters going forward.

Confusing Instructions

I always use the app and have never had a problem understanding the instructions on how to fix my water. UNTIL NOW. this time it says “.75 FROG DropH Alkalinity and ph decreaser”. Does that mean .75 of each? And why did you change from Alkalinity Increaser? That’s what I was told to use when I bought the hot tub years ago. technology is great but it’s interesting when companies change these just to change them.

Nice that the app records water testing history but what would make the app even better is if it recorded & kept a history of water change interval dates

Great test based treatment info. Buggy UI.

Every time the app starts up it’s frozen on the dealer page with a dynamic touch response “test” button. I have to wait a good 20-30 seconds just to use the app. Very pointless considering the app is mainly for “testing”. I love Frog products, but this app does not reflect the brand well.

FANTASTIC

This app is a game changer when it comes to balancing the chemicals in your hot tub water. It makes it so easy. It tells you exactly what chemicals you need and how much you need. Thank you for making this so user friendly.

Got a response

This app used to have a feature that used your camera to take a picture of the test strip and analyze it. Developer responded that the camera feature was not accurate and
They are looking at future improvements

Needs help!

I’m not sure what use this app is. It doesn’t allow you to upload an image of the test strip. It seemingly serves a limited purpose. I should be able to take a photo of my test strip and it analyzes the colors itself. the bottle already has the same color match chart.

Every time you update the app

I get logged out and lose ALL OF MY HISTORY and my log in doesn’t work anymore so I have to “start again” and set up my hot tub.

Other than that I love this app. I rely on this app to help me keep my spa in good working condition.

Update is downgrade

It used to tell you what to add and how much to balance your water like ph up or alkalinity increaser. Now it doesn’t. Just says your water isn’t balanced. I liked it much better before

No reminder?

This app claims to tell you when to change your chlor ball. I can’t even find a calendar showing when I put the new ones on. This app is garbage

I hate this app

I just want to check my pool chemistry with the app
Every time I have to jump through a bunch of hoops to try to sign in why do I have to sign in to check Pool chemistry? It doesn’t make any sense.

Take away that requirement to sign in and you would get five stars the way it is I don’t wanna have to deal with signing in to check chemistry

Bad and bad update

The old app was not very functional so I removed. This app is buggy. Anytime a screen is edited it gives me a black screen. Close and open the app does not help
