Can’t download photos

For the last two days I’ve not been able to download any photos from the app - previously I’ve never had a problem.

Not working with iPhone

No longer able to use this app at all. Can’t connect to my phone at all.

Worst thing about Fuji

This app is so outdated and an absolute disaster. It’s the most unreliable and frustrating app. For a company that markets their products around travel and street photography and producing images that can be posted straight from camera; the app impedes their customers on being able to do so.

Trying to connect to my phone to my xt5 and download images is near impossible. I’ve spent over 30+ hours trying to use evert troubleshoot suggestion; resetting my camera, deleting the camera off my Bluetooth, changing various settings on my phone and camera, redownloading the app. Despite this I continue to have very little success. At times I can get it to sync after hours but it’s so unpredictable. It’s incredibly frustrating, particularly when travelling. Looking online, this seems to be a longstanding issue yet Fujifilm have yet to resolve this issue. Whilst I love the camera, film simulations and quality of photos; I bought this camera because I wanted the ease of being able to post my photos straight from the camera whilst travelling.
The issue has gotten to a point that I am now changing brands to a company that ensures their technology meets the intended purpose and serves the customers needs. This issue has been repeatedly raised by its customers for several years and yet they have made no effort to amend the issue.

Awful App - Really Fuji?

I’m appalled by how awful this app is. You’d think, after spending thousands on their equipment, Fuji would invest more into making sure they have a functioning app. Constantly crashing, slow upload speeds when it does work, disconnects randomly mid file transfer… the list goes on.

Never connects to bluetooth

I don’t think this app will ever work which sucks cause it’d be nice to have a easy way for self portraits. it’s been like this for the past year of having a Fuji camera. You basically have to disconnect the camera from bluetooth and start over every time you want to use the app 🫩

Very unstable

This app is very unstable, it usually disconnects a couple of time before I can successfully download the images. Very very frustrating.

No Longer Works

I got an XT5 and the app was great, sold that and got an XE5 and the app worked the first 1/2 dozen times I needed to upload to my phone. Unfortunately that is no longer the case as it will not connect to my IP16 Pro Max. Not sure what changed, but it's extremely disappointing. I've u installed and reinstalled the app, made sure I'm not missing updates etc. It's a complete dud.

Wanted to love it

I wanted an alternative to taking out my sd card and plugging it into my phone every time to get pictures off. This worked about 30% of the time, simply too buggy and unreliable and it crashes all the time - I have no more patience. Sigh, back to SD card reader. Do better Fuji. Love your cameras and lenses but this app SUCKS.

Not connecting

This app no longer connects to my X-H2S consistently. I can connect via Bluetooth, but when I try to connect via WiFi to transfer photos, the connection fails in the app, even if I am connected to the camera via WiFi on my iPhone. This seems to be 100% an app issue. Seems like this is a new issue that needs to be addressed.

Would love support for Recipes

The app works really well now, much better than it did in 2020 or so. But I think there's a real missed opportunity to integrate Recipe support, hopefully including default, custom, and a way to integrate community Recipes (i.e. a way to add your own, use supplied ones, and subscribe to third party lists or import files with Recipes).

Intermittent connectivity

I'm never sure if it's going to connect or not. Sometimes it's flawless, sometimes it's schizophrenic.

App or what?

It's absolutely ridiculous that there are apps like this today—where you have to try 10 times just to connect to the camera and manage to download even a couple of photos, because the connection drops after a couple of minutes. Bravo. I'm giving it 1 star only because I can't give it any less.

Better… but…

Much quicker and smoother than previous app. Works first time. Bravo! But… 1) I shoot HEIC files (which have great capacity for editing) and the app requires me to choose the images I want to download while using the app, whereas if I shoot JPEGs I can choose the images using the camera then let the camera download to my iPad later on when I have my iPad with me.
2) the X app introduced some weird Trojan into two of my Fuji bodies preventing me from seeing the file number for RAW files when in “erase” mode on the camera. 3) why can’t Fuji make the X app available for older bodies such as X-M1 ? People are still using older Fuji bodies.

Not working with iPhone

Constantly disconnecting or refuses to connect to my iphone. Incredibly frustrating.
Update: No longer able to use this app at all. Can’t connect to my phone at all.

Absolutely terrible and infuriating

This app is complete garbage. Disconnects with camera every three photos or so. I can’t believe Fuji even put this unstable, buggy app out. Talk about amateur hour.

Piece of garbage

Works half the time at best

Unusable on iOS - Miss my Android!

Having recently moved from Samsung to iPhone, I am shocked at how poorly the Fujifilm XApp performs on iOS. On Android, transferring photos was quick and reliable. On iOS, it takes endless troubleshooting, resetting connections, and constant network connection errors just to get a single transfer to start. In over an hour of trying, I only got it to work once. Fujifilm needs to completely overhaul their iOS Wi-Fi handshaking. Avoid until fixed.

The Fujifilm x100VI camera has disappeared from the app

The Fujifilm X100VI has disappeared from the list of devices for connection. It is still listed among the supported cameras on the website.

Doesn't work

Didn't work with my android phone. Doesn't work with my iPhone. Unfit for purpose. No feedback. Garbage

Connection issue

I have a fujifilm x100vi and have to forget device on Bluetooth and wifi to reconnect. If phone goes into lock screen, connection to camera breaks and gets out of sync, quite common when transferring lots of images to phone. Sometimes the actual camera itself gets stuck with a flashing green and red light and is unusable unless I completely remove the battery and put it back in.
