Verdict
The clearest difference is rating: FUJIFILM XApp at 4.2 against Capture One's 3.5. FUJIFILM XApp also leads on in-app purchases (none vs 4) and ratings volume (3.6K vs 331). Capture One's advantage is update cadence (every 9 days vs every 5 weeks). On price, review sentiment, ads and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Capture One sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $10.99 per month. FUJIFILM XApp asks for nothing beyond the download.
FUJIFILM XApp holds the better App Store score, 4.2 against 3.5. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: FUJIFILM XApp has 3.6K ratings behind it against 331, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 18% of Capture One's written reviews are positive against 16% of FUJIFILM XApp's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.
Capture One ships an update every 9 days, FUJIFILM XApp every 5 weeks. Both last shipped on November 7, 2026.
