A total disappointment

a waste of time and money!
The app advertises "learn 35 languages quickly" and "11,000 words and sentences," but the actual experience is nothing like that.
I mainly wanted to learn English (specifically for restaurants and service interactions), but the course content is incredibly rigid—just rote repetition of words and simple sentences. After finishing the lessons, I couldn't use what I'd learned in real conversations at all. The audio speed in the listening sections fluctuates erratically, the accents aren't standard, and many of the sentences are phrased in ways no one would actually use in real-life situations.
The revamped onboarding process didn't help much either; it’s still the same old "level-clearing" format—highly repetitive and quickly boring. When I tried to access more practical content, the app aggressively pushed subscriptions, claiming I could "subscribe to just one course," yet clicking through revealed all sorts of restrictions—you can't really learn much without a full subscription.
I paid for the course but regretted it almost immediately, and the refund process was a huge hassle. The claims about "70 million users" and Forbes features look impressive, but the actual user experience falls far short of the high rating.
Don't be fooled by the download numbers and star ratings. Just play around with the free content if you like, but if you're serious about learning a language, look for a more practical app.

The learning process is facilitated by 30 interactive games, an effective review system & other features. Our courses are developed by certified linguists and native-speaking translators. Audios are recorded by native-speaking voice actors in professional recording studios. If you think you found a mistake, please go to the Vocabulary, tap on the 3 dots near a word or sentence, tap on "Report Mistake" and write your suggestion. Our team will analyze your report ASAP. Stupidity

In this app I pointed that my level is not beginner, I have pre-intermediate. This app started to teach me words like mother, father, family and so on. It’s ridiculous.

Amazing

This app moves really slow, teaching 4 sentences at a time….but the repeated exercises definitely make sure you know it! So good!

Major update to review: some sentences in Brazilian Portuguese are incorrectly pronounced but cannot report.

I would say it’s amazing for an app for example I’m learning Korean and it can teach me 11,000 words it’s better then other apps that tell you to pay to learn more words and ofc it can’t teach me the whole language fluently as it’s just an app but it’s better then any other app it only tells you to learn 5 words a day and then you can pick if you want to play a game to see if you remember how to read it and pronounce

Здравствуйте, скачала приложение и выбрала случайно не свой уровень иностранного языка. Изменить просто так уровень нельзя.Пришлось удалить данное приложение.

Es la app con el planteamiento más honesto que he podido apreciar, dado que ofrece la posibilidad de acceder a casi todos sus contenidos por méritos a la vez del resto de opciones de contraprestación para aquellos interesados en seguir otro ritmo. La estética ha mejorado considerablemente con el reciente rediseño de imágenes, supongo que gracias a la aplicación de las nuevas tecnologías generativas, cuyo atractivo es de agradecer en el uso regular propio de este tipo de cursos. De lo que dudo es de su eficacia pedagógica, pese a su buena estructuración, ya que puede precisamente por ello, unido a la excesiva facilitación, oportuna al principio, pero seguramente discutible en la medida en que se avanza, lleven a una impresión de rutina, ausencia de desafío y restricción a la propia iniciativa, que me hace sospechar que tendrá efectos sobre el aprendizaje, que es básicamente de vocabulario, ya que el tratamiento de la gramática es meramente implícito a la exposición de frases definidas. Se echan en falta diálogos y escenarios más abiertos que exijan más participación y capacidad de elección, tanto en relación a la semántica como a la sintáctica oportunas y que quizá podría desarrollarse a partir de más juegos como el desafío diario y no tanto por los contenidos en el apartado de juegos que no son más que una categorización alternativa a las lecciones básicas, aunque no estén de más para revisar errores, al igual que los repasos para evitar el olvido, aunque aquí también considero que sería mejor una inclusión más flexible de los contenidos que hacerlo o no de forma dicotómica, y si no es posible el ideal automatizarlo según el nivel o el rendimiento específico, al menos se debería permitir al usuario controlar ciertos niveles de probabilidad de aparición. Las estadísticas siguen sin mostrar los errores históricos para poder centrarse en ellos en los repasos y potencialmente como criterio de selección de contenidos. Actualmente el registro de errores se pierde con el siguiente repaso, pese a que seguramente tenga un efecto a largo plazo. Respecto al soporte, es indiscutible el valor de la simple atención humana sin demora y según mi experiencia se cumple, aunque no lo he encontrado demasiado resolutivo respecto a las cuestiones técnicas que he planteado, comprendiendo que dependen de las particularidades del sistema en el que se ejecuta y de la reciente introducción de cambios en la gestión de ventanas. En definitiva, un enorme potencial, cuya propuesta inspira confianza, que a mi juicio precisa de desarrollo, especialmente en lo relativo a incrementar gradualmente la proactividad del usuario, tanto con fines didácticos como lúdicos. Sirva aludir al líder de este tipo de app como referente de lo que pretendo decir en relación a la exposición e interacción con los contenidos, así como para repudiar su modelo de “invitación” a adoptar sus planes lucrativos por saturación publicitaria y que espero esta plataforma consiga equilibrar mejor. Finalmente, en el tema de la privacidad, la recopilación de contenidos del usuario, aún no vinculada, nunca me parece aceptable e incluso el envío de datos de diagnóstico y datos de uso creo que debería ser opcional, es decir, estar desactivado por defecto y solicitar el permiso revocable fácilmente por el usuario mediante un simple interruptor en la configuración y, por lo tanto, a mi pesar, el punto más reprochable.

iPadで購入しました。同じアカウントでiPhoneで開くと購入復元出来ませんでした。何度もやり直して出来たのですが、「購入復元出来ました」などの文言が無くて延々とやってただけでした。アプリはおすすめです。

New word Pictures? why?

Beware of updates messing with the basic principle of the app: recognize pictures and lead words. Now the pictures changed i can not recognize them anymore. The app should help with learning not making it harder. Why are there in my opinion obviously AI generated Word pictures now? Completely overexpressed muscle atanomy fruits that look like plastic etc... The drawings had character this is just trashy i'm sorry.

Fast perfekt

Die App ist übersichtlich, gut strukturiert. Konnte meine Vokabelkenntnisse gut erweitern. Mir fehlt nur die Funktion Wörter zu markieren, die gerne priorisiert werden bei den Wiederholungsaufgaben und öfters dran kommen.
