Amazing app!
This app is very functional and simple. It restructured my daily life to make everything more efficient. It's great for my quick lecture notes. Definitely would recommend.
Great usability
I use Funnel with Things3, Devonthink (DTTG) and Obsidian. Much faster than Drafts and a better UI. I have removed Drafts even though I have a paid version. Thanks for your work!
Works…Sort Of
This app sort of works with Obsidian. Adding to the daily note seems to work if I already have Obsidian open with the daily note open using Obsidian Sync. If I’m gonna do that, I might as well just type into the daily note while I have it open. Also, all of your notes are placed directly after the header, and not at the end of any other notes. My emails have gone unanswered. I’ll keep looking for a better solution.

Replaces Drafts and a few other apps I have tried out for fast capture to DevonThink and Bear.
You don't know you need it...
I use this to quickly get tasks and thoughts into my to do and notes apps. It's super simple and always easily accessible. A great little app that I didn't realise I needed but now I use regularly.
Great Capture app.
Amazingly easy to capture almost anything into your app of choice. Not sure why you can’t capture images or photos into reminders since reminders has this functionality.
Solid capture app with a unique feature
There’s a few apps out there like this, but none have the brilliant Live Activities feature is a real stand out that I use everyday. Once you start a new capture and exit out of the app, you will see the option to enable live activities, which will essentially turn your capture into a kind of system-wide “sticky. ” I’ve found this incredibly useful for todos; I create my list, go about my day and check off the tasks in the app, and when I’m done I can send the capture to whatever available destination for record keeping. This is a great “hack” for attention—excellent if you had ADHD—and it’s worth using this app over others.

Great app but subscription kills it
Really love this app but wish there was a lifetime purchase option to use apps that don’t have a paid API, such as obsidian. I will revise this review immediately to 5 stars if that ever happens!
Indispensable part of my workflow
I used this app every day to capture ideas and links into my note system and To-Do apps. It makes it super easy to get things out of my head without interrupting what I’m focusing on.

Simple but useful app with great UX
This app calls to me as elegant way to quickly get ideas or thoughts out of my head.
The developer did a great job with the UX. I especially like the what’s new section of the app with past/present/future.

Powerful time saver
Thank you for making this app. Funnel is fantastic if you need to quickly capture information and you use Obsidian, Drafts, or the other supported destinations. As I contractor I spend my days reviewing the state of projects, noting deficiencies, and communicating with my partners. Funnel allows me to quickly store a picture or thought without having to fiddle with an app. It is saving me a significant number of minutes every day. I bought a subscription a few days ago and it has already paid for itself in time savings.
Here is my take on future enhancements (note this list is geared to Obsidian):
Reasonable List:
- Add new content at end of file instead of beginning of file
- Capture multiple pictures at once
- Add text to media; Ex., send text with picture
- Edit a variable-based file name by content type: if(type=Photo, "Pic"_{date}-{time}_{<prompt for name>}.jpg")
Dream List:
- Customize picture insert link to Obsidian to display a picture at a specify size: if(type=Photo, "Pic"_{date}-{time}_{<prompt for name>}.jpg|300)
- Annotate pictures--just need simple pen with 2-3 colors and text box
- Media (pictures, etc.) should save to folders as specified in Obsidian. Saving a picture to my Daily note results in a link in the Daily file but the attachments go to the folder designed in Funnel.

The best!
I’ve been looking for a way to quickly capture thoughts, pictures, to do’s, … anything into Obsidian. My search is over: THIS is the best app to do just that!
Can’t add destinations
Adding destinations appears to be limited to a given, fixed list. What if I need a funnel destination to PDF Viewer or some other app not on the list?
Great for sending photos to Obsidian on mobile
Great solution to the dilemma of figuring out how to get images into obsidian on mobile. Worth $15 a year! Installed to see if I like it and I’ve continuously used it in the month or so since install. Thanks for the great app!!

A genuinely brilliant app that makes getting random thoughts into apps like Obsidian and Apple Reminders totally frictionless! Has a list of apps that it also supports like Bear, Things, Agenda, etc.
For me though the best thing is being able to capture thoughts really quickly - be they in the form of text or images etc. - and pop them in to Obsidian. This app makes it so easy and has a permanent place on my home screen!
