What's New in Gait Pro
2.0
August 9, 2026
Gait Pro 2.0 adds the feature the app is named for. MOBILITY A new tab for the eight walking measurements Apple Health records: walking speed, step length, walking asymmetry, double support, walking steadiness, six-minute walk distance, and stair ascent and descent speed. Each comes with a plain explanation, thirty days of history, and an honest note about how much of that movement is large enough to be real. REDESIGNED The whole app now looks like its icon, with a footprint trail for today and three tabs in place of one crowded screen. FIXED - Walking speed was labelled as metres per second while actually showing its reciprocal. - Reloading your history could duplicate every day in it. - On some devices the app refused to count steps at all, because it checked the wrong sensor capability.
