My “friends” list is incomplete
Response from developer
Thanks for laying this out in detail. You found a real bug. There was never meant to be a limit on how many friends you can see. Your list was cutting off early instead of showing everyone, which is why you kept landing on the same 15. The fix is going out soon, and once it lands you'll see your full list when you invite. On phone contacts: right now we read your contacts as one flat list, so contact groups aren't available to pick from. We will look into adding this capability, though with the friends list working properly it hopefully won't be the workaround you need anymore. We also have a Friend Lists feature, where you can save a group of friends once and reuse it for future invites, so you're not re-picking people each time. It's a one-time setup, not something you'd redo per game. For running invite-only games across 3 courts with balanced levels, you shouldn't be fighting the invite screen to do it. Sorry for the hassle in the meantime. If anything still looks off once you're on the new version, reach us at support@pickleball.com and we'll take a look.
Too much personal data for no reason
Response from developer
Thanks for taking the time to share this — privacy matters to us too, so we'd like to clear a few things up. First and most important: we never sell your data to brokers, period. "Marketing" in our privacy policy means letting you know about pickleball play near you — leagues and tournaments — not sharing your information with third parties. That's also why we ask for a couple of details. Your location helps us surface games and events close to you, and age helps match you with the right play, since many leagues and tournaments are organized by gender and age group as well as skill level. And you're in control: you can opt out of marketing during sign-up, or anytime after in Settings. If any of this reads as unclear in our policy, we'd genuinely like to fix it — reach us at support@pickleball.com. We hope you'll give Game Maker a try.
