It’s pay to play game, don’t waste your time or money
Had high hopes for this game thought it would be so cool. But this game is trash. Takes a very long time to level up. You can grind to gather materials to upgrade your keep but good luck keeping it because bigger players that have teamed up and bought their place in the game will just bully you and take all your stuff anyways. Then proceed to laugh about it if you can’t afford to pay to play and buy shields for your keep. There’s no kind of ranking system to prevent big players from just demolishing smaller players. There’s no reason that a level 30+ should be able to attack a level 10-12. Why is it we’re limited on what creatures we can and can’t attack because they’re “too high-level” but the big players don’t have some sort of cap on how low of a keep they can attack?? That is not even fair, and you can’t even find them on the map to even attempt to fight back. There’s no kind of mutual agreement for pvp. The alliances are pretty much a joke because all the big alliances work together anyway and if you aren’t part of one of them you’re fked. And they’re all rude and entitled and treat smaller keeps like resources. There’s no reason one person should be able to hit my keep 25 times in a row. And if shields are so important, why aren’t they easier to just earn?? You literally have to buy the shield packs just protect little bit of stuff you do have. Like I just wanted to build a little kingdom and have a dragon, It’s not worth it and not even fun anymore don’t waste your time, money, or energy on this game. Edit: it’s still absolutely sucks. Still the same problems. I’m over this game.

Falls off fast
In the beginning it’s fun to gather heroes and improve your keep. The events are entertaining. But after a certain point you’re constantly being raided to the point you can’t upgrade anything because you constantly have to heal your troops and you either use up all your resources or shell out cash to keep advancing.
At some point it’s just frustrating because any amount of progress you make is reset when you’re attacked and you have no troops or resources to work with

Slowly giving up
building up army, defense, traps and resources, get attacked and lose all my soldiers, and resources, my traps remain untouched and there is barely a dent in the attackers number even though everything was virtually identical, now stuck for 12 hours building resources to then wait another 12 to healing troops… getting close to giving up on this game

Development is slow but has many events to keep you busy. Game has lots of glitches during events.
Can be fun BUT
Can be fun but it’s a money pit. It doesn’t really teach you anything about how to play. Once you get zeroed it’s really hard to come back from it and customer support is garbage… they’ve had the same bugs for years minimal new content. Basically unplayable if you don’t spend money

I love Game of thrones but this is a dead game. It never really got off the ground 10 years ago because it was so skewed for ptw. The servers are still up but it’s desert

I have been having issues with Troop building and power which the developers don’t appear to want to fix. I have submitted 4 tickets on this subject but the last couple have been closed by WB. It appears to me that they don’t really care if the game is not working properly once they have your money. This weekend we had a troop building competition. I was religiously making troops for 48 hours but I didn’t even get to the finish line despite using a lot of accelerators and spending gold near the end to try to finish. I will see if they respond to my last ticket and fix the problem I have. If nothing is done I will be another one to leave.

All the top players have figured out ways to cheat as an example. They use VPN to buy packs cheaply from overseas and you don’t know that until you’re a couple of thousand in. You’ll never be able to walk away from this game or any game like as you will be constantly under attack in the beginning. Once you get big enough not to be attacked you’re probably 10 K to 20 K in. Meanwhile the top players are cheating. As the game levels off they merge kingdoms. Not it’s you and 50 totally ego driven bullies isolating players. The amount of trash that happened in discord in this game from sex harassment to giving personal details on players was over the top. This game should be investigated. Designed to make you spend and there is NO winning. You never win.

This game is fun I’ll give them that. You can make an account a money pit though. That itself wouldn’t be an issue. The reason they get 2 stars is because I’ve put so much money into my primary account the game glitched as it does from time to time. But the game caused my shield to not deploy even though I deployed it. Nor did I get notified of attacks. I lost a billion food and billion wood 300 million in troop power and a ton of stone and iron. I reached out to in game support they gave me back 80 million troop power and said that’s all they can do. So personally. Don’t put money into this game. Play it free to play. Don’t pay because when their glitch makes you suffer they don’t really care.

I have played many multiplayer games over the years and I have never had so much fun as I have with this game. And the strategy it really gets you to carefully plan out your strategy.

The game kind of is fun but I’d say more addictive - it is competitive honestly crazy addictive but also extremely pay to win, I played for years and to put it into perspective I spent 300k real dollars and I was still not maxed out, and even then still can’t do a crazy amount to the other top tier players
