DO NOT USE AT THE MOMENT
Somehow my previous review was deleted, so here’s a new one. Not sure if it was the devs not liking my review or just the AppStore being weird because I know it does things like that sometimes. I made an account to try it because I want to get away from Discord while still having something my friends want to use, and due to it being buggy and kind of broken at the moment (photos not uploading properly, things not updating when you update it) and due to how bare bones it currently is, I wanted to delete my account and maybe come back when this app is more polished. I saw this is in early development so that’s okay. Please continue to work on this, fix the bugs and maybe add profile customization similar to Discord’s? Hopefully? Thing is there’s a BIG issue. It’s incredibly hard to delete your account. There’s no instructions in the app, and no button for it. I had to Google “How to delete your GameVox account” and it gave me the support email. I sent it a while ago, as in days, and still no response yet, and my account is still sitting there. I’m very uneasy because of it needing my REAL phone number in order to send a verification code when I made my account, and I don’t want my phone number just willy nilly around. PLEASE add a delete button so this is easier to do? I even talked about it with my friends they told me they wouldn’t even want to use it ESPECIALLY because there is no delete button.
Update: They got back to me now and basically said “Go to settings, hit “my account” and then delete it.” On this mobile app I do not see any “delete account” button under the account settings, just the “my standing” telling me if I’m close to getting banned and other stuff but no delete button. I am immensely disappointed, and myself and the people I know will never be using your services again, thank you.

Chang is Good
Seriously give it a try. Yes it’s small but Ben puts in a ton of work into making the app that Discord Refugees need! Also no soulless AI Moderation!!!
Has the potential to outperform discord
Gamevox is early in development, and with that the expectation of bugs is given. I appreciate that the developers are working on the app, both for IOS and PC, and that feedback is actually getting read. In just the week ive had the app, ive seen at least 2 major bugs get patched. Each day is an improvement, I hope that this app continues to be improved.
Any complaints about bugs are, unnecessary, and people need to develop patience while this brand new platform gets built.

Great app but
Not having the ability to listen to background audio such as music or audiobooks while in Vc is a real hinderance on this app.
