Let me just start out by saying that probably 85% of my wardrobe is GAP. I find their clothing to be high quality. My oldest pair of GAP jeans are going on 10 years and still look great! I buy most of my son’s clothes from them as well.

I have never been motivated to write an App Review, but I am compelled to do so here because WHY is the GAP shopping app so bad? For years, I have experienced frequent slow processing on the is app when I do not experience such lag and slowness with competitor shopping apps like Target, Amazon, And others. What’s the deal GAP?

Repeated failures to deliver ordered products
I suspect Gap is wallowing in its return to popularity by failing to keep sufficient stock on hand to deliver. I deleted my app after two failed deliveries. If I have to wait a week to have Gap process an order to point of sending it into delivery system, I will use alternate fast fashion outlets. Shame on Gap for customer abuse!
I stopped purchasing from Gap for a decade-and-a-half, returning only when Gap aligned with interesting design entities. Mostly pleased with online purchases but with over an hour drive (if traffic cooperates to “local” store) online competence is critical. Gap failed.
