Micro transactions galore
So I played up until level 15 when it started pressuring me into micro transactions. That is why I uninstalled this app. The fact that it’s made in Unity gives me the impression that it’s an asset flip as well.

Predatory difficulty increase
I’ve playedGardenscapes for years and the developers have recently increased the difficulties of every aspect to the game to force you to pay more and more money. People are quitting in droves and the morale is the lowest I’ve ever seen it. People are depressed and feel like playing is a lost cause because the aspects of the game they could complete and feel good about are no longer possible. I’ll never pay for passes in the game again, entirely a money grab.

Nerfed and unplayable
Used to be a fun game. Then they cut the power ups by half. Started challenges that are near impossible to beat. Made the game a pay to play if you want to pass levels and win challenges. Total disappointment.
Struggle-fest
At first, the game is pretty generous and leads you on for quite a while. Eventually though, it will make you struggle hard to get ahead, and not yield. You will only be able to really progress if you pay money. And, if you pay money, the game labels you as a ”payer” and will make you struggle harder to make you pay more, not reward you for paying them, and make it easier.

Mini games
The mini games that you need 4 players is quite annoying. No one wants to play on your team and they make you do the work by yourself. There is no point in having the mini games when no one wants to participate or make low effort.
Just keeps getting worse
I have been on LONG time player and have also unfortunately spent a stupid amount of money on this game, but apparently that does not matter one bit because now they have made it where all players do not get to participate in the side events. Things are constantly being taken away in this game. It’s probably time for me to stop playing altogether. It’s unfortunate it has been ruined so badly.

Not enough moves
They want you to spend your money to complete levels by not giving you enough moves to complete the round! Rip off game!
Fun early; a chore later - pay to progress
The first few hundred levels were fun, but then became a chore quickly. Now you can beat a couple levels quickly, then get stuck on a level for a dozen or more playthroughs. The game is designed to consume your power ups, coins, and lives in a cynically greedy ploy to get at your wallet. Typical.

Fun game until I chose a 7.99$ package and they charged me 49.99$ Very concerning, untrustworthy, unethical and unauthorized taking of my money.
Used to be good
Personal experience and from what I see currently on Facebook group, many people are leaving or thinking of leaving the game. They changed it so that you end up spending a lot of money to win levels. Before it was more even and if you played long enough, you would generally eventually win a level. Also, recently they had a glitch on a level that cost me coins and being able to participate in competitions. If they do not improve, more and more of us will leave. What a shame. Many of us spent a lot of time playing here.
