Disappointing GPS and connectivity signal between watch and phone app
I bought this watch and downloaded the app so that my daughter could contact me anytime she wants. I paid the yearly subscription to have call and message connectivity. Sometimes her messages never get through to me. I also find call connectivity is poor sometimes to the point that she cannot call me and I cannot call her. Her location can also be late in updating also sometimes. It’s random when this happens but makes it difficult to rely on it. This is when we are both in city areas that have good mobile phone coverage. Disappointing.

The best watch app.
Does not locate fast enough
The app fails to update location, and take several app re-launches to do so.
Only works in wifi range
The app only connects to the watch when it’s in wifi range, even though I paid for the LTE subscription. I got this watch for when my daughter walks home from school and it doesn’t work. Terribly frustrating and disappointing.

Feature Request: Immediate Alerts & Unread Message App Badge
The Garmin Jr. app needs clearer, more prominent notifications for family messaging. Currently, incoming messages are easily missed because the app lacks high-visibility alerts and visual status indicators.
Please consider adding:
* App Icon Badge Count: A numerical badge on the home screen icon displaying the exact count of unread messages.
* High-Priority Push Notifications: Stronger, customizable push alerts (with persistent banners or distinct sound options) to ensure new messages are seen immediately.
A simple unread badge and more apparent push alerts would allow parents to respond promptly without needing to open and refresh the app to check for updates.

Great device
You’re able to live track, text message and voice message. There is no direct calling of any kind.
Not user friendly
Unable to join my family chat via the app, app is not user friendly

Great app
This watch the bounce 2 and the app have been a godsend. My son is motivated to complete chores and messages us and calls us when needed.
Best thing ever!
We needed something to keep track of our son and this is excellent! We can text him to check in or tell him to come home. We love that we can track his whereabouts!

I love everything. Wish there was some kind of currency for an avatar. Like if you take 5000 steps you get 500 tokens and you can use those in a shop to either dress your avatar, add gear, or poses, etc…
Helpful, 80% of the time
Love it, amazing. Especially if you’re horrible with time management! Only problem: Sometimes it doesn’t track our activity or steps correctly. I’ve had to reboot it several times. But, still, when it does work, it’s really cool.

Dissatisfaction overload
Not sure if it’s the app, the watch or the plan but we can not make calls to or from the Bounce 2
Good for fitness
I rated it a 4 because it’s age appropriate and everything but on my iPad it takes about 5 mins to show me how long l’ve slept
Just difficult
It’s been very difficult with this watch. I have it for my nine year-old granddaughter the notifications that come to me or not loud enough. I actually went to the Apple Store and they couldn’t help me with it either. It’s just not loud enough and my messages can’t go through. I’m unable to send voice messages anymore. It says that you can make calls on this watch. I don’t know about that at all. I don’t know if I advise anybody to get this watch you might as well get a phone.
