Bad Update
My wife and I share an account and it seems we can’t both be logged in at the same time anymore. This is a real problem that needs to be fixed.
No history and no way to add people from contact
There should be way to add folks we have added once before. There is no history tracking. Should be smart enough to correct phone number if added with a 1 or with ()

Fast…Accurate…convenient .
Good principle; poor execution
The app allows for entry of permitted, and even blocks banned, people/companies, which we greatly value. What is annoying is the ap’s inability to sync with password managers (this is happening on multiple devices with different OS) AND it also will drop passwords from the central system. You look up your userid and you might or might not be able to use it. Then its a call to the gate where some button is clicked and you’ve wasted everyone’s time.

Worthless App
I had to use this cruddy app to get into my neighborhood while I was driving a loaner car. It was fine until they must have done some update.
Now I have to put the text size on my phone to a very low minimum to make the app appear.
I tried for three days to get their rude, worthless, customer service to return my call.
This company needs someone to teach their employees how to enact with customers.
I wouldn’t give them one star; the way I have been ignored.

It is gone. Just went away
I had it on my phone. Today I get a blank page when I try to open it. It just disappeared for some very strange reason. This is sooooo unreliable. Help
Simple and Secure
Adding names of guests and vendors is accomplished easily! When my phone “dings” to let me know someone — be it guest or vendor— has arrived, I am secure in the knowledge that someone I’m expecting will be at the door momentarily!!!

Having to go to my directory to add contact information for my guests that would be great.
No option for Company's Name
Delivery personnel usually goes by First Name and Company's name. For example Instacart gives out only first name, so we fool the Last Name field with "Instacartdelivery"
Guest List
Gate Sentry is user friendly. That’s a great feature for seniors.
NEEDS UPDATE
I have been using the app for guests as well as for the gate of course for years now, the whole app needs a complete redo. The app is simple but could use a “user friendlier” update as well as a makeover. Make it smoother and more responsive to the user.

Extremely Old Technology
This is technology from the 1980’s. Old & outdated. Makes it so you canNOT hive accurate info. We used to be able to list last name & “Family” since we only get 5 permanent guest, Gate Sentry took that away among other easy things. Unfortunately, we are FORCED to use this bad app. Hate it!
Works ok but needs improvements
I’ve used this app for years. It does it’s job, but is super annoying. Some very minor software tweaks would make a huge difference:
1) Allow for special characters and spaces in the names. this would allow me to put both a husband’s and wife’s name on the same line (if I don’t know who is driving through the gate). Also allow for hyphenated names, and those that may use an apostrophe. It’s insulting that an app dictates how a name should be written. many people have two part names with a space.
2) The temporary date feature doesn’t work very well. When I put in a date the scroll often jumps to another day, and when it saves it lands on another day. It’s just very glitchy. I think it would be better if it weren’t a “scroll” and maybe use a calendar to click the date. Capturing the correct temporary dates is very glitchy and annoying and wastes time.

Stay open
The last month or two every time I open up the app, it makes me sign in instead of staying open
Great option for gated community
This system saves a lot of time and hassle for both residents and guests/vendors.
