If your phone is in dark mode, good luck keeping a custom theme. You can use dark or light gradients, but a custom theme will not stay. It reverts to the default dark keyboard.
Placing the phone in light mode immediately allows for any custom theming, colors, etc.
It's unacceptable this bug is still in place after this long.

bad
too different from the android keyboard, doesn't automatically hold my recently copied links in the clipboard for me, doesn't have the comma on the main keyboard, doesn't have the asterisk in the menu when you tap and hold the period. it's much less user friendly and I don't like it compared to the android version, which I feel should be the SAME THING! they're both gboard!
