Needs just a little bit of work.

This has become my main browser. What does it for me is the ability to install extensions and user scripts. I actually searched browsers that use both of those and that’s how I found Gear. There’s a few kinks that need to be worked out, like how it freezes. All in all, so far so good. Please keep the updates coming!

Basically, Be The Good Guy

“God I can’t wait to get this Safari.”

I walk out without the beacon quicker than Apple can be the furthest entrance away. It’s still their mall, however you’re the only two around.

“I won’t use it,” you say. And the Gear Browser has a token. It’s still an optional Safari extension you can click on for reasons unexplained.

The Discover card has an addon like that, too. You leave the coupon magazine toggle in Safari on, been here, with the Pentagon.

When you get to Gear, ask for Aswin Venkat. They’re at Google. Tell them to take to Lyra. That’s your favorite extension.

I say bye again, thankful.

needs more customisation

great app. needs more ways to customise it though. more liquid glass would be an amazing update - a toggle to switch it on and off would be even better. especially for the dock, along with customisable dock to be able to toggle on/off some of the buttons. (i never use bookmarks, so it’s just clutter). also perhaps a swiping method for tabs, similar to the one arc uses would also be an amazing feature.

also thought i may aswell mention the extension compatibility is quite off - a decent amount of my extensions just don’t work - especially if they have a login menu. e.g coupon extensions.

Amazing browser

I love this browser meets all my expectations and use and the ui is familiar with even more amazing features. I am pretty sure apple or Microsoft will probably buy this company out soon, I hope Firefox dose first tho

Extensions not working

I think you guys would have to work on your extensions, I have downloaded multiple extensions like MetaMask, Rabby, Phantom, and etc. but none of them is working, it can’t even open the extension for to create or import my wallet.

I’m giving you 3 stars and if you work on it I’ll give all 5 stars

Because the WebKit browser engine used on iOS differs from desktop browser engines, some extensions may not be optimized for mobile compatibility and therefore may not provide a complete experience. Some extension developer may also provide a version for iOS, but you need to find out and install that. Reverse Image Search

Build in image search functions is broken, especially for Yandex while add extensions doesn't add context menu.

And it's should open in new tab instead.

# When you do image search with Yandex, it's put image url into search box instead of using Yandex lens.

Few Issues

This is is one or even the best browser on iOS rn
But i’m encountering some issues like some websites keep reloading continuously after every second it loads and plss make the full screen better on desktop version of webs🙏😖

Features

I’d like to see a few features before I subscribe like pinned tabs, muted tabs, better download management features like a resume button, parallel downloads, live activity notification 🤷🏿

Aesthetic But Missing Things

This is my new preferred browser. With that being said, I have two requests for the developer. 1) why can’t I set a default homepage? 2) please let us add the search browser of our choice. I see lots of options, but no Kagi, which I use.

Thank you for your feedback. The browser home screen is not a web page element, so you cannot set a web site as the home screen. But you can customize it by long press the empty area. The search engine options are deeply optimized with the browser. We will have a plan for customization in the further.

Visual mode doesn’t work

Very good browser with extensions but the button visual mode just doesn’t work if I click it, I have tried everything but it still doesn’t work, please fix this.

BROWSER IS A GIMMICK

NOT ALL EXTENSIONS WORK, THE ONLY ONE THAT WORKS IS AGUARD.

Need you to add pin tabs. Please look at safari on iPad they way it’s set up.

Keeps crashing

It’s rare but what’s happening is i have tabs from when i was last on the browser and i open gear again and swipe to those tabs it doesn’t load them sometimes it just crashes, also great work making the boarders on fullscreen mode stay black even with smart color invert on very nice 👍

Great minimalist browser

This browser is great and has a wide range of genuinely useful features, the ui is clean and easy to navigate. I recommend this to anyone looking for an easy to use browser with great features and a clean minimalistic interface.
