Archaic software at least 15 years out of date
The list of why this software does not meet any kind of modern standards is beyond my ability to list so many points here. If that’s all that’s out there for home healthcare, then so be it, but that would make it a sad state of affairs.

Family of the patient
It would be nice if there was a way to message the office instead of calling in. Also feedback for Angel's visitors isn't updated to the current date, mine shows nothing after June.
Direct Care Worker
I have been using Generations app for about 4 months. It’s great! I use it to log in/out of my shifts; I see my schedule, messages, notifications. I see and able to bid on available shifts, read and write care notes. It’s all in the one app! Not having to go to different sites to sign and then another to see care notes it’s very convenient and centralized. I’ve had no issues or problems with app. It’s never frozen or not available. Great for all work related activities.

Okay, but not great
My mom is in a memory care facility and we have hired a company for supplemental care that uses the Connections app. From the end-user standpoint, this app is almost worthless. The only thing of import I am allowed to see is the caregiver schedule. There are no notes available on the shift they are there for, nor is there any way to contact the caregivers who are currently with my mother.

Prompts make it easy to use
I have liked using the app to chart on my clients in home health. The automatic alerts are great in case you forget to log in or log out. It makes forgetting to complete charting impossible. Would highly recvomend for any and all healthcare charting whether it’s home health or facility based.
Hours added
It’s a decent app, but it needs to have a tally every day of hours worked or at the end of the week say you worked 27.5 hours or 40 hours. Instead of having to add everything up at the end, which some people like me are bad at math.
Navigate with Ease
App is easy to navigate, well labeled so you know where to go intuitively. A nice complement to documenting requirements blended with time keeping and schedule keeping
Functionality
You cannot upload documents or see who is working with you or whom your greeting upon arrival cannot updatecareplan
SLOW APP
App freezes up too much and acts to slow & most times while im on the app it’ll just log me right out !! im not the only one from my job having this issue. & sometimes because of the glitches it erases my saved log in information.
Not the best home care app
This app works when it wants to. It freezes, and has to be deleted and reinstalled daily. The GPS is not accurate, it needs a complete update and all the bugs worked out. Our jobs as care givers is tough enough, we need an app that works.

I have only been using Generations for about a week so I can only say what my experience has been in that short time. Overall, I think it is fairly easy to use. It gives me what I need to know about a client (as long as his/her information is entered) before I see the client. It tells me what tasks I need to be doing with each client. I like being able to log in and out with my phone. Maybe there are more things this app could do, but from what little experience I have had with it, I don’t know what else would be helpful. It seems to cover the basics of what I and my supervisor need. I had it go offline this morning when I tried to log out but I either refreshed it or went out of it and came back into it and it went back online. My phone indicated full internet which is way more than I get at home most of the time. That’s the only issue I’ve had and that may have more to do with my phone than the app. I really like it. It’s easy, convenient and doesn’t take long to use. This is far better and easier to use than EPIC was for hospital professional note documentation was when I was a registered dietitian. I like simple and easy. EPIC was neither simple or easy.

ANNOYING
This app crashes more than anything. EVERYSINGLEGDAY! Logs you when trying to chart. Then has the audacity to keep asking for a rating. Now you have one. If I could give ZERO stars I would..more than once!!
