A dynamic approach to fitness
Gentler Streak is a core (yet unobtrusive) part of my day to day. The flexibility of the Activity Path and the encouragement of rest days helped me form good habits without feeling all-or-nothing. Gentler Streak helped me ease into an active lifestyle again after coming out on the other side of years of debilitating illnesses and not only helped me establish my new normal but provided me the tools of how to work with my body without making me feel like missing “progress” days was a setback. I can’t recommend Gentler Streak enough, especially for those who struggle with the rigidity of an all-or-nothing approach or those who wish to understand how the rhythms of their body impact fitness/activity goals.

Weightlifting not registering as “good” workouts
My main form of workouts is doing strength training. And I’m consistently pushing and progressing. But the app basically doesn’t recognize the benefit of anything other than doing cardio. Just got a message that I should bump up my activity. Mind you I’ve done 2 60+ minute hard lifting sessions this week with 10 minute Metcon work after. A bit annoying that all the app cares about is long cardio sessions. Could be a good app for motivation but that’s a really annoying way of looking at fitness. Might uninstall

Fantastic App
I’ve been using Gentler Streak for a few years and recently decided to get the lifetime because it’s truly such a helpful tool.
As a woman with ADHD exercise is the biggest struggle (after laundry) especially when I’m not feeling 100%, but this takes the decision making and negotiation out of it. The activity suggestions are automatically matched to my energy level and menstrual cycle phase so I can either do it or give myself permission to not without feeling guilty.

Perfect app ! Just one request.
Fantastic app. Not pushy. Really has helped me.
The one important improvement to make is to add a tab on the activity page that, in addition to the distance, duration, and flights, you get to see and compare the actual number of steps per week, per month and per year. One small change but an important one.

Great App!
When I started following the app guidance, I stopped getting frequent small injuries caused by the lack of appropriate recovery. Also this app really helps me to avoid overexercising which triggers my migraines. It supports stable progress in my fitness journey.
