Does What It Says
Good app, does what it says. Reliably pairs with my A7V every time and the Lat/Long end up in the metadata as they should. It also shows the camera’s battery level which I find very handy when avoiding touching the camera during long exposures. Unlike the Creators’ App, it pairs instantly and it doesn’t nag for permission to access the photo library. I wish it included a shutter release button, maybe if it’s possible they could incorporate that in a future release.

Persistent GPS data whenever I turn on the Sony A7r camera
It just works. Once paired and Bluetooth is on, turn the camera on and geo data is recorded. Turn the camera off and then back on for another image, geo data is recorded. Awesome.

Requires “Always” location sharing, otherwise a 5-star app
The app seems to do its job and do it very reliably, however it requires location services to be set to always. Please at least give pro users the option to not have location services always on, instead allowing us to open the app and leave it open in the background.

Fixed location issues
Finally a solution for my Sony camera not properly getting location data.
To developer: you should try to add support for other manufacturers, you have a great solution in hands !
