Great app

My wife has used this for almost three years. Chris has a variety of workouts for any level. I love that it’s available on Roku as well. The app is easy to navigate and learn, it’s been designed great.

I love the variety of workouts; the explanations and showing both high and low impact. The workouts vary in intensity from short beginner to much longer advanced. They have several free videos to see if you like the workouts. And best of all, no need to go outside or the gym!

Love the options!

I love all the workout options I have even without getting the gold membership! More than enough for me to choose from. The only negative is the app always shuts down at least once while using it. I stop what I’m doing and get it going again. Annoying, but still worth using.

Don’t bother. It’s NOT and app and can’t be used on anything but your phone without AirPlay.

Don’t bother. It’s a great idea developed by greedy or short sided people. It’s not actually an app even though it’s in the App Store. You can’t open it on your Apple TV -because it’s not an app. Not a smart tv. For a fire stick. Nothing. The only way to watch besides your phone if airplay to your tv. No thanks. Won’t be renewing

Hard to cancel

I forgot that I even had this and received 0 reminders in my email. I searched my email to confirm. They then charged me my renewal fee. Upon researching this, I learned I was charged a week early. I emailed them this morning and did not even receive an auto response saying someone would be in touch. This feels like such a scam. I didn’t even end up using it because I didn’t like the app.

Fraud charges

FRAUD WARNING- I had apparently downloaded this app at one time and looked at it but didn’t subscribe. I HAVE NEVER USED THIS APP - I have no login info and cannot even figure out why they keep trying to charge me $122. No contact info to ask either.

The app doesn’t work well

I agree with other reviews. The program is great, the app is not. The log in is screwed up and, no matter what I click, it wants me to create an account, choosing a password for me, and not allowing me to select my own. I can only get in through the website, which doesn’t help for working out. In addition, the search feature on the app doesn’t bring up very many options, which makes me wonder how much variety is really here. The trainers are great, the technology behind the site
needs work.

Get Healthy U great App terrible

This one star rating is based solely on the app, not the program itself.

Let me start out by saying that Get Healthy. You TV is great. Chris is inspirational and the workouts are fantastic and fun. Lots of variation she seems down to earth and I’m happy to find a workout group. That is not a bunch of 20. Something-year-olds showing how easy it is.
But as for the app, it is terrible. It causes my iPad to freeze up requiring a complete restart. There doesn’t seem to be any good security measures.
I would highly recommend the Get Healthy U TV subscription but just access it through their website not the app.

No new content

This app does not upload new workout videos so I would not recommend paying for a year subscription because you can go through the same videos pretty quickly. I’ve had it since June and have not seen any new content.

This app will not sync to the premium account that I created online. I have minimal access. You have little control over account settings.

Unsecured website

This app is highly insecure and lacks basic authentication measures. An account was created under my name using a fake email address that doesn’t even exist, with no verification process in place. Despite the fraudulent setup, my credit card was charged through this fake account.

It is shocking that no identity or email verification is required—only payment details, which makes it easy for stolen cards to be used. Even after reporting the issue, I continued to be charged for months until I was forced to cancel my credit card. This is nothing short of financial fraud.

The customer service experience has been equally disappointing. The support team showed little understanding of digital security, failed to follow proper protocols, and provided no resolution.

This has been the worst experience I’ve ever had with an online service. I strongly caution other users to stay away from this platform—it is unsafe, unregulated, and a serious risk to your financial security.

No way to cancel subscription

This app seems really outdated and is not very user friendly. The workouts are also not the best and a lot seem very old/outdated. However, the biggest problem I have is that there seems to be no way to cancel your membership/subscription and they charged me for a renewal subscription almost TWO WEEKS before the end of my “one year” trial subscription price. It seems like such a scam. If they don’t scam people out of their money, they would probably not have any business. I am in the process of trying to dispute the charge with my bank since their customer service seems to be unreachable.

Outdated

I dunno, I’m not really a fan. The “plans” aren’t really plans. It’s a bunch of different videos they’ve taken from other sources and called it a plan. You can do this for free on YouTube. I purchased the special they had for the whole year. I won’t be doing that again. I don’t know if it’s what they did, but it feels like these are a bunch of old YouTube videos people did and now they’ve put them into an app to make money. I feel like a kid in the 80s /90s watching these videos😂.

Pricing

I found Chris Freitag on YT many years ago and it sustained me through covid. She’s real and in my age group. I signed up for premium because frankly that’s all I can afford but it seems they have been moving or making less and less content for this level to encourage more to go gold. If I could afford it I would but strongly considering cancelling because the cost and quantity of content does not match.
