Facial Recognition Glitch
I can’t get the mobile app because the facial recognition doesn’t recognize me now that I have a beard. I tried to email but no help yet.
It is not working
You can verify phone but the email verification is not working. That means the app is not working
No longer works
UT Mobile ID used to work great, although not really able to use it anywhere but the airport. I was forced to sign up through the app again today (even though I’ve been signed up and using it for years) and it won’t recognize my face through their software.
Used to work, now pay to play
Worthless.
This worked when I first got it years ago. Tried to launch the app today and all it would do is crash, so I updated and it deleted my saved license. Thank goodness I didn’t actually need my ID.
After multiple attempts to get it set up (due to errors on their end), it turns out you have to pay a subscription to get access to your ID.

Nobody accepts this
While in Utah, using this app with Utah State ID nobody accepts it. The QR code never reads, I’m always denied. It’s really annoying. My guess is that if I ever get pulled over the cops won’t take this either. What a waste
Subscription required
When signing up, it asks to have my phone number and email verified. Verifying the phone number worked just fine, when verifying the email I kept getting a 401 error. Luckily, I could skip the email verification. But in order to share any information I have to pay for the subscription, that’s currently $1.99 per year. The nice thing is that they give you a 6 month free trial, I guess that would work in a pinch. But if you have your ID on you to sign up, you could just use the ID. The developer’s other mobile ID app doesn’t appear to have a subscription. And other states that have their own mobile ID apps don’t appear to have subscription costs either. This makes it seem like the subscription is coming from Utah.

Profoundly Bad
If you have to literally rescan your ID and go through the setup again in order to use this, there’s no point. What a pile of garbage.
Was working fine three months ago…
but now I must re-register and the SMS verification text message will not send. The app is worthless to me now.
Can’t rely on this app
WARNING: this app may log you out randomly without letting you know, and you need your physical ID to get back in, so you can’t necessarily count on it. What’s the point of it if I have to carry my physical ID around everywhere anyway just in case?
Has to be set up all over again
I have had this app since the beginning. And since the beginning on a random basis, you have to start all over again from zero to set this up. So that means you have to find your drivers license and start over. There is no way to login; there’s no way to restore. If you have to set this thing up new several times a year, why do I even use it? Why don’t I just carry my drivers license? It seems to defeat the whole purpose of this thing. Oh..and their support is terrible.

Deleted Profile and Error messages
Have loaded and lost my info 2x and 3 weeks straight of “memory issue” error messages at the end of attempts at re creating. Tax $ wasted.
Required Utah Phone#??
I’ve been using this app for a year or more now, but suddenly an update now requires that I have a Utah area code phone number? Why? I have an Utah DL, which has no requirement for a Utah area code phone number. Please fix this.
Error on Signup
Verify identity fails due to a memory issue. Not a fan of all the error messages only a minute in.
No longer working
Not a great app, but it used to work. Now it throwa out of memory errors on ID setup after randomly logging out. No response to support requests. Writing to the Utah legislature to allow Apple ID instead of this poorly supported app.
Won’t work
Have had my info uploaded and the app working 2 separate times and then it stops working. Trying to get it set up for the 3rd time and keep getting an error when doing the facial recognition. Something about lack of memory. Carrying my license is a pain trying to use this app is more painful.
Impossible sign up
Be prepared. It’s nearly impossible to sign up, 1. It will constantly say failed when you get to the step to input your phone number, and when you eventually get past that many days later. You will then get the failed again after you try to do the facial recognition portion. Still haven’t been able to get past that point.

PLEASE Make an APP just like this for ALABAMA….PLEASE! I’m begging you!
I really, really LOVE this APP! I just WISH there was One Available for the State of Alabama. Is there any chance your team could work on 1 for Alabama cause every other State in the U.S. has one besides Sweet Home Alabama. lol I downloaded the UTAH Mobile ID App in hopes that I could somehow load my Driver License onto it along with my Car Insurance, Registration, & any other much needed items to have on the ready. If you or your Team reads this, PLEASE Make an APP for Alabama. It would be GREATLY APPRECIATED!

Broken
I’ve been using this app for a few years. Now it is broken. I have to recreate my ID and rescan it. What is the point of having it if you can open it up and find out they deleted your ID on it? Shame on Utah government for using this and not allowing integration with apple wallet, as promised.

Quit working tried to uninstall and reinstall and now I get a file creation error

Was working fine, latest update forced a sign out and gives an error about my c drive being full when trying to login.. on my iPhone.. trash
