I really want this to work

I can’t get past the set up on my iPhone. Works just fine on my iPad. But that doesn’t help. I’m not carrying around my iPad all day to get the reminders. Anyone else having this problem?

Response from developer

Hi - This bug should be fixed in the latest version (1.3). Sorry it took a while to fix, it was hard to reproduce this issue. Hopefully it is working for you now.

perfect app for customizing specific targets

This is a perfect movement reminder for me. I’m disabled and I need to work on specific muscles throughout the day. The ease of customization was crucial.

Just a fundamental app without silly bells and whistles. Developer is a good guy too.

Questions

Is there a way to have a sound play when the activity is finished? And does the app need to be running all the time in order to work?

Response from developer

Hi - The app should play your standard notification sound when an activity finishes, make sure your phone isn’t on silent mode. It does not need to be running as it sends all reminders as notifications. Thanks!

A couple of bugs spoil this app

This is a useful app for reminding you to move and I love that it suggests what movement you might do. But there are two annoying bugs:

1) Despite selecting ten moves as my preferred exercise, I get the same four moves repeatedly. Some selected moves haven’t come up after several days use.

2) You can set the reminder for any interval you like. Mine was every 30 minutes. However, you will get the reminder 24/7 no matter what days you select. I had to turn notifications off to stop it.

It would be goo to be able to select a period for the app to work. I really only want reminders during my workday.

Response from developer

Hi - sorry for the delay in responding to this. The app has had a couple of updates with new features and bug fixes. Specifically, you can now send an end-of-day time, and it also will only send one “back up” reminder, and not repeat them indefinitely. Hopefully this helps, and you give Get Moving another try.
